I found these types of cutting boards to be great! They tend to be on the expense side however, unless they come up with something better, this will be the only cutting board that I’ll purchase. No complaints about the seller or timing on delivery, etc.
Good quality cutting board, easy to clean and good size too
Holding up after a month of daily use. These fiber based boards are great. Advantages over plastic or glass, and cheaper / durablity advantage (to sitting water) over wood.The rubberized corners keep it from slipping but I wonder if they'll hold up. TBD. The juice groove (one side only) works well.I wish this would fit an oversized vaking sheet, but it's actually a little larger. Not a problem but fyi.Basically an oversized generic Epicurean board, with the price advantages. Would buy again, possibly as a gift too.
I love this cutting board and the overall size is very useful for prepping multiple veggies. It is nice to have the carving side with the canal when cutting roasts or meats, which is often. At this price, I bought two to always have a spare clean. My only critique, unlike a natural wood board, there is a sharp sound of the knife coming in contact with the board when cutting similar to using a glass cutting board, but it is not a deal breaker for me. This cutting board is a great kitchen must have.
This cutting board is exactly what I was searching for to replace my scratched up plastic one. The composite surface is lightweight, gentle on knives, easy to clean and does not slip around on the counter. And it looks nice, too! I would recommend this item without hesitation.
Pros: Really like the cost, convenient functional size, and handle. It fits nicely in the dishwasher and the groove is good for capturing juices from food.Cons: Bought two- one for a gift. Fortunately, we tested ours before giving the other away. When we opened the package, there was a terrible fishy odor that did not go away even after washing. It is strong and awful! We put the board outside in direct sunlight. A full day of bright sun did not eliminate all the smell. We put in back in the sun for an additional 2 full days. Smells from off-gassing are gone. Plan to wash in dishwasher next before using & confirm odor doesn’t come back when damp. Hope glue in this board isn’t toxic. The smell is concerning. We are not giving the second away. It’s too embarrassing to give somebody something that stinks so much or comes with a disclaimer of how to get rid of the odor.We own Epicurean boards which are very expensive, but they’ve NEVER smelled.
Exactly as described. Dishwasher safe. I use professional chef knives. This board is tough!
