Safer for food prep.
I purchased these boards because they are not plastic and are a safer alternative. I am concerned because there are plastic particles in foods today according to the news reports. I also like the fact that these boards clean up easily. and are scratch resistant.

Worth the money.
my wife loves these cutting boards and as do I one thing you should be aware of is that the metal surface will scratch this is no big deal and happens in all sorts of restaurants were chefs work so they are great cutting boards.

Stainless cutting surface; "wheat straw" appears embedded in resin/plastic
As part of our anti-microplastic cooking quest, I decided to switch to metal or wooden cutting boards. The "Tanglier" cutting board has a stainless steel cutting surface on one side and a "wheat straw" surface on the reverse, with all edges having a silicone edge. The board was delivered in plastic wrap but no instructions on cleaning, etc. With that said, the Amazon listing claims it is dishwasher safe which is interesting as the "wheat straw" part of the board appears virtually identical to another company's board which clearly states as being not dishwasher safe. I'll put it to the test for a month or two and update as appropriate. Cutting is straightforward and I expect more frequent knife sharpening as the price to be paid for getting rid of plastic. Knives will scratch the stainless steel size but that's not a concern. The board is a good size and has a juice channel on the back as well as a spot for grating garlic. I don't see myself cutting on the back of the board because the "wheat straw" seems to be completely embedded in a resin / plastic matrix, the very thing I am trying to get away from. It has a good weight and holds securely on the counter top. Overall I'd call it a good cutting board on the stainless side and fine for charcuterie on the reverse.

Looks and works great
With all the news about micro-plastics in our food, we wanted to do something to reduce the risk; here's a stainless cutting board. This is a much safer alternative to the plastic versions and will also last much longer since it's metal. We also avoid the bacteria and mold that grows in wooden cutting boards... another win.The only problem we have is that it's too pretty... my wife doesn't want to mess it up... :)We like it!

Nice size, good quality, but scratches
I've been using a smaller, glass cutting board and a super small bamboo board, but really wanted something a bit larger for cutting meat. This isn't huge - certainly won't fit a large brisket, but it is a good size for most of the meats and things I cook. Out of the package this looks and feels very nice - not too heavy, sturdy enough to carry a good amount of meat/veggies/food out to the grill or smoker and back. There were no instructions with mine so I didn't see where it states dishwasher safe or not, but I handwash all my cutting boards, anyway, so that's not a big deal for me. The rubber edge is really kind of a nice feature - functionally it doesn't make a huge difference, but it feels nice when setting this down on edge, and it provides a nice look. From a usability standpoint, this is pretty decent. It is not at all scratch resistant, however, so be aware that while the stainless steel side looks nice out of the package, as soon as you cut on it it will scratch it up. Still, it is a cutting board, and other than glass I would expect anything to get scratched up when you cut on it. The opposite side is similar - as soon as you cut on it, it will scratch up the material. The difference is that the non-stainless side you can't really see the scratches (though you can feel them). Both sides are stain-resistant, particularly the steel side, though I would imaging the non-steel side may show stains over time and as it is scratched up. The drain trough is a nice feature - not real deep, but enough to keep some juices from running over the edge, but the "grinding area" is pretty useless - it doesn't get in the way, but I really have no need for it, either. The whole for a handle is a nice touch. Initially I wasn't a fan because I wanted the cutting surface, but I actually like it to help carry food to/from my grills.Personally, regardless of meat, veggies or fruits, I decided to not cut on the non-steel side so that I can keep that relatively clean-looking and use this as a serving tray as well as it does look nice.

A sturdy cutting board that feels dependable in daily use
I wanted a cutting board that could handle heavier chopping without wearing down quickly, and this stainless steel one has held up better than I expected. The surface feels solid and high quality, and it has resisted scratches even after a lot of use with sharper knives.During actual meal prep, the board stays steady on the counter and does not slide around, which makes it feel safer to work on. The groove around the edge catches liquids before they hit the countertop, so it keeps things cleaner when I’m cutting fruit or trimming meat.Cleaning it takes almost no effort since food rinses off easily, and it never absorbs odors or stains. With how durable it feels and how well it performs each time I use it, the overall value makes sense for everyday cooking.

Light weight and versatile!
Beautiful cutting boards; I like how versatile they are. They are pretty light weight- they don’t feel like you’re carrying a full on block of wood. The stainless steel is very easy to clean- the only thing I could imagine would make it hard to clean, is the little grinder section on the tan side, but even then, a tooth brush or literally anything with bristles will clean it.Overall, I’m very happy with these.
