BEST KNIVES EVER!!
I have several different sets of knives at all different price points and manufacturing methods and these are one of the best! I used the curved one to cup open pumpkins and it made very short work of the tough rind. Then, the carving knife went through the turkey and, later, the roast beef like butter. They're nice and heavy in the hand but are pretty well balanced. The blade covers are very sturdy and don't fall off, providing good security. This is good because the knives are wicked sharp! I store them in the box which is easy to open to get to them. Pricewise, for the quality, it's actually not bad, especially if you compare the cost to a single Wusthof knife. These would make a great gift for an aspiring chef or an old hand and I love them!

Amazing Knives for all cuts
The Dalstrong four-piece set is an outstanding collection of knives. I purchased this set primarily because I recently began buying full rib roasts and wanted to cut my own ribeye steaks. Although I have another excellent knife set in my kitchen, I needed the 10-inch butcher knife for making smooth, precise cuts. Another knife I particularly like is the 12-inch slicer, which is ideal for slicing a large brisket after cooking it on my green egg. While I use the other two knives less frequently, they are still very useful. The boning knife is perfect for cutting up a whole chicken, making it easy to navigate the grooves between the bones. Lastly, the 7-inch Venator knife is a unique tool. I use it much like a chef's knife, but the hole in the blade provides extra leverage on the grip. I tend to use this for most other kitchen tasks not mentioned above.The knives are incredibly strong and sharp, making any cutting task effortless. The grips are comfortable and suitable for extended cutting sessions. When slicing steaks, I typically cut 15 to 20 slices, and the blades handle it with ease.Each knife comes with its own magnetic sheath to keep them protected when not in use.I am extremely satisfied with this knife set. It surpasses most traditional kitchen knives, such as a chef's knife and a Santoku knife. If you're interested in buying large roasts of meat, like a rib roast or a New York roast, and want to cut your own steaks, this is an excellent set. It has everything needed for perfectly smooth steak cuts and post-smoked meats. I highly recommend it.

Pit Master's Dream Knife Set!
I have owned Dalstrong for years and it’s definitely my go-to for meats and BBQ. I belong to several BBQ groups and I would consider myself just short of a pit-master. Dalstrong is a KNOWN name in the BBQ circles for quality and ultimately why I started my Dalstrong collection. This is the ultimate MUST-HAVE for the serious BBQer.Each knife comes with a sheath for safety and storage. They all come with a rigid sheath with exception of the Venator knife, which comes with quality, thick leather sheath with a snap.These knives are full tang and super sharp. I’ve used the Dalstrong boning and slicing knives for years and they keep their edge better than any other knife in my kitchen. The handles are beautifully smooth, polished, and comfortably balanced in my hand.My favorite trimming knife is the boning knife. It’s super thin and sharp and is flexible for cutting around bones. It’s fantastic for silver skin. It helps me preserve prime meats without cutting off delicate meat from my filet cuts. I also use it for deboning my seasonal spiral ham. The blade is amazingly flexible.I used the butcher-carving knife to cut my fajitas. The granton edge (or indentions) on the side of the knife are intended to prevent food from sticking to the sides as you make your cuts. Fajita meat is incredibly stretchy and tough to cut through. I usually do a lot of sawing to make my slices but check out the video. I made one pass for a clean cut.The Venator knife is very versatile in that it can slice, chop, and cleave through bones. I like the finger hole that gives you an added grip to power through tougher cuts.Lastly, the brisket or slicing knife is ideal for slicing cooked meats. It also has granton edges to prevent sticking. No serious BBQer would be without one. See the pics, the cuts on my tri-tips are perfectly smooth and clean.This is the ultimate set for the serious meater! It’s everything you need for slicing, cutting, boning, and chopping! Cutting to the Chase: My Dalstrong First Impressions
I'll be straight with you: the price almost scared me off. But now, after getting this set (note, this was through Vine) and putting it to work, I think it is warranted albeit still a large investment. My first thought was “awesome”! These knives are amazing, and they’ve completely changed my kitchen game. They arrive beautifully packaged, and every blade, including the “Venator” (which comes with a thick leather sheath) includes its own safety sheath .The quality is immediately obvious. They're all full tang, they also feel heavy but perfectly balanced, and the handles are beautifully polished and comfortable. The high grade steel is no joke, these blades are razor sharp right out of the box! They hold an edge better than anything else I’ve owned, and maintenance is easy. Soap, water, and dry.While they're the ultimate set for butchering and meat prep, their versatility is what truly impresses me. The slicing and butcher knives are incredible, thanks to the granton edges which try and stop sticky foods from clinging to the blade. And the Venator? That thing is a tank, ready to chop and cut through bones, and the finger hole gives you that added grip when you need it.Bottom line, this set is everything you need for boning, carving, slicing, and chopping. They're a huge upgrade for me and definitely worth the value.P.S. I have been looking at getting better knives for myself but had been putting it off (especially in 2025, with prices sky-high). I was happy to see those pop up on Vine!
