My wife purchased this for Father's Day as I frequently BBQ and grill. It is an incredible knife worthy of the meat it cuts. It is well balanced, very sharp and cuts like a dream. The box it comes in is a shame to be recycled and the sheath is robust and well protective of the blade. I have the cleaver to match and look forward to using this for years to come. Well made and worth it in so many ways!!
The best knife I have own, the comfort of the handle is perfect and the sharpness of the knife is awesome.
Can't wait to buy more in the Valhalla line.First I purchased the non bull nose 10 inch.But the bull gives me the ability to PUSH DOWN because I don't have hand strength enough to just bear down on the sharp edge. I really appreciate that extra metal.Handle is a joy to hold and pretty. Sorry the non Valhalla plastic black blue Night Shark line, just isn't my cup of tea (though nice and lightweight).The Neg is the poor quality vinyl sheath. Like other reviewers mine too has a strap that's already falling apart.
This is really a good looking knife and the edge is sharp! We bought one as a gift and ended up coming back to buy one for our house too! We plan to buy more knives from this company because the quality is top notch! Very happy with our purchase.
I bought this knife for my boyfriend who is a meat cutter and he says it is absolutely amazing. The blade holds its edge 10× better than any other blade he has or has used. He said it slides through the primals with absolute ease. He has been using this blade exclusively since receiving it for father's day this year. The craftsmanship of this blade is phenomenal.
Over all appearance is awesome still and the box it came in such a cool box and sheath even though it has a tear from where the knife rubs on the little strap. Over all sharpness was good but after first good use it dulled on me I sharpen my own knives so not a big issue for me but would like it to lasted a little longer this would be my 3rd dallstrong knife and the first one I send back and it had a slight bent which would make it harder to sharpen and the second one was sharp but didn't like handle so overall I like dallstrong still and not giving up on the product they are nice and eye appearing and good knives for a descent price.looking on getting more soon.
This knife is a razor. You could literally shave with it. It’s well balanced and did I mention it’s sharp. You can just show it to an onion and the onion will start crying.
