This art piece Dalstrong calls a “Fork” is miraculously beautiful. Of course the handle is stunning. You can see that in the photos. I don’t have to tell you. But the “FORK” itself is staggeringly magnificent. The stainless steel is resplendent. The design, style, and ergonomics of the fork are the best I’ve ever used. I could make this review sound almost foolish because of all the superlatives I would pile on this fork…But they would all be true.The fork is so divine, I don’t want to use it. But I have used it. Many times. Even to turn hot dogs. The tines are very long, and sharp enough to impale whatever it is you’re cooking, or anything else you might want to impale. And the grip is unparalleled. And also, you can lay the fork on its side, covered in bbq sauce, and not get your counter dirty. Brilliant.You’ll never find a better fork. Nor a more luxurious one.Valhalla was the hall where heroes feasted with Odin for eternity. Odin forged this fork for his feasts in heaven, then shared it with us mortals.

The craftsmanship of this Dalstrong Valhalla Series Meat Fork is excellent. I like the 7.7 inch length which makes it easy to rotate meats while braising and to keep roasts and poultry in place while carving. The fork is a good weight, is very well balanced, and the prongs are very sharp. The handle is a work of art in iridescent shades of green, black and brown with intricately detailed inlaid rivets. This exceptional fork comes packaged in a very nice, sturdy storage box and would make an excellent gift for someone who’s graduating from culinary arts school.
