Looks great, most of the knives feel good in my hands

This is a really nice set of knives for the price. Currently sitting at $200 before any coupons. Looks great on my kitchen countertops with the included block.Pros.The chefs, santoku, bread, and utility knife have a really good balance of weight to them and feel great in my hands. I really like the feel of the chef's knife and santoku. these will be my mainstays. The carving knife is a nice addition but it is easily the one knife I use the least. It felt good in my hands like the others though.Cons.The scissors do not come apart for cleaning. That's a must for kitchen scissors for me. They are heavy and feel nice when using them though. The paring knife feels off, I don't know what it is but it feels like a different knife altogether from the rest.Conclusion. They're sharp, of course they are, most knives will be plenty sharp out of the box. We'll see how they stand up over time though. A solid set of knives for the price. Looks great! Love the handles and the weight distribution I just really wish the scissors came apart then it would be a perfect set for me.

The knives I've needed!!!!

I can't say enough good things about these knives! First of all, they are absolutely beautiful! The grain, the handle, the storing block. They're all very beautiful. The knives were all individually and carefully packaged, complete with a plastic piece covering the tip to avoid any accidental cutting while unpacking. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the knives. They are heavy in a good sturdy way!! Even the shears had some impressive weight to them. I am so confident that these are durable and will withstand the test of time. They came with very nice instructions on how to sharpen them with the included sharpening rod as well as best practices for cleaning and storing.Now here's the real test. I made red curry thai last night for dinner and had to chop a whole onion. The onion tears from from bruising the onion from cutting with a dull blade. And I am BEYOND sensitive to onions! I comfortably chopped the whole onion without even the mildest sensation of tears in my eyes. These knives are SHARP!! HOORAY!So very impressed with these and I know they'll see me through years and years of happy chopping!
