Good replacement for Japanese fry pot thermometer that got water into it (my fault for washing under running water - next time, I'll just wipe clean!). Love the Fahrenheit units since this is for use in the United States!
Seems legit. But it's too short to reach the oil. Total fail.
It’s convenient for frying
I ordered this to replace the one that came with the tempura pot I bought for my kids because the one it came with read Celsius and made it necessary to use a conversion chart for them to deep fry things when they choose to.We have yet to fry anything to check accuracy of the temperature readings but it's already great to have a fahrenheit reading instead of Celsius
