Great for Medium Batches and Regular Use
This fryer pot has been a favorite in our kitchen and gets used often by my husband and me. It’s well made and has held up nicely with regular use.That said, it’s best suited for medium batches. The opening isn’t ideal for very large pieces (like a big cut of catfish), but it works great for smaller portions and everyday frying.Heats evenly, feels sturdy, and has been easy to clean. Even with the size limitation, it’s still a go-to for us.

I bought this to replace my big bulky old deep fat fryer. This deep fat fryer is amazing. Sits on the stove. Doesn’t take up much space. I love that you can sit the foot on the rack to drain the oil. Great lid, decent pot
Overall, the pot itself isn't the highest quality. It's fairly thin, but it does work well. Where this really shines is the lid and the drain on it. I don't know why I haven't owned something like this for years. It keeps everything clean around it, and it allows me to drain food right there.

Highly Rated But w/ Flaws
It is an excellent pan for heat retention and is a very good size frying pot depending on what you are frying, mind you this is a tempura pot and most of what you cook in it is pretty much bite size (at least that is what it’s designed for), so we can cook in it for 4- 8 people with no issues.Like the lid with the drainage rack but my biggest problem with the lid is that the lid doesn’t snap close all the way around the pot, meaning the lip around the lid is not perfectly secured and seating properly inside the pot, there is a gap where the V pour spout is at. Not a good design since you can accidently hit the lid when taking food out and move the lid out of place while you are cooking (Lid is hot and at cooking temperature). The other thing is the thermometer; it is not really a built in thermometer, it is just seating on the lip of the frying pan and that can be moved also while you are cooking but that one moves circular around, it has two sides, the flat part of the thermometer is it’s normal frying position for reading and closing the lid to control splatter, it’s when it free moves around to the pointy bottom rounded part that you are not able to close the lid using it. I can understand the removable thermometer since the fryer is dishwasher safe and having a thermometer that you are not able to take off before putting it the washer wouldn’t be the idea thing to do, but it would be nice if you were able to snap it into place where it’s not able to move freely and still able to remove it for washing. Other than the lid and the thermometer, where it lost two stars each, this is an excellent frying pan that has a very sturdy and durable construction, I can see using this pan for some time without warping or bending and that is saying a lot for a pan you can actually retain for years on end.

Super convenient, easy to clean, and keeps grease off the stove
I absolutely adore this fryer pot. It’s so convenient and doesn’t leave grease splattered all over my stovetop like traditional frying does. We haven’t used it for anything heavy yet besides fries, potatoes, and a little bit of chicken, but it has worked great every time. It heats up fast and cools down quickly when it’s time to dump the oil, which I do after every use. Pouring the grease out is easy and mess free. I have an electric glass cooktop and it works perfectly on it. Overall it’s been a great addition to my kitchen and I’m really happy with it.
