This is a great product!
It fries with minimal mess and cleans up easily. Perfect for small batches of frozen prepared food items like french fries, calamari, shrimp or egg rolls. Uses a minimal amount of oil as compared to an electric fryer. The only negative I found was the sticker on the outside with the maximum amount of oil that should be used in it. It is very conspicuous and difficult to remove, I suspect it wasn't intended to be removed. It will eventually come off through use and cleaning. I understand that because of lawsuits, there is a certain group of the population that needs to be protected from themselves, but I don't understand why the information wasn't permanently laser etched onto the bottom of the pot with the rest of the information on it or a line etched inside of the pot.

Small. Easy to work with
Very convenient to make small batches of fried potatoes or zucchini or really anything else you can think of. It is small, but it is very easy to work with.

Frying was great, as long as items are not long.
Works as stated but would be better if the strainer fit inside, i want to strain used oil not new. Also the strainer doesn’t fit under the lid when storing

Too small opening
I used this only once and regretted buying it. The opening of this fryer is too small to fry many of my favorite vegetables. You can only put a few French fries, egg rolls, etc. at a time. If you want to fry for a family of four, you need to get a bigger fryer.

Hope you’re incredibly knowledgeable with frying
Wow! I very very leave reviews for things but you all should be warned. We fry a lot with electric fryers and they are so awful to clean up. So I was excited to try something new that was not electric and I could clean well.To start, it came with ZERO instructions. None. So we made some frozen french fries to try it out. We had no idea what temp or how long to do it, so we started low. It took so long at the lower temp so we figured it needed more heat next time.Clean up was a breeze. I was so excited to finally have a fryer that was easy to clean.2 weeks later we put fresh oil in and then it on the mid way instead of low. 20 minutes later of letting it heat up, our eyes started burning. Went to the kitchen it it was very smokey. Took it outside thankfully and put it on the ground. Opened the lid to look inside and it burst out a flame. Closed it back up and put the flame out. Went to check in 20 minutes later and another flame burst as I took the lid off.Sure maybe I’m not a pro at cooking with oil, but perhaps if this came with any directions as all, I could have avoided nearly burning my house down.
