Beautiful, interesting, and nice weight to them!
Update: a year later and these plates still look new and beautiful—no chips or marks or stains—I run them in the dishwasher regularly too—so happy with these!—-I was completely and pleasantly surprised by these Delling Star-Geometric dinner plates!First, they come packaged very well for shipping. No problem with anything breaking here! They arrived all intact.These plates are heavier than I thought they be—not in a cheap feeling bad way but solid and thicker than I thought they’d be. They feel substantial, and they look beautiful. The heft of them was a surprise as I didn’t know if they’d be too delicate for every day use.I didn’t think I’d like plain white plates as I’ve had them before and often are bored with them, but this geometric pattern adds so much interest to these plates!I love it when I open a package I’ve ordered and feel completely happy when I see the item—when it’s better than what I expected. I like the weight to these and the pattern quite a lot.Immediately I said to my friend, “I want more of these!”These are 11 inches, which is what my other dinner plates are. What I like about these, as well, is that they curve slightly up, not as high as a bowl, they are definitely dinner plates, but the slight curve will make these great for salads, and it just adds to the interesting look/design.The price is reasonable for such well-made dinner plates. I do feel I received my money’s worth.If I’m giving 5 stars, I always ask first: Is this making me really happy—yes! Would I purchase this again/more of these—yes! Is it well made to last—yes! Is the price reasonable for what I received—yes! Would I happily/highly recommend it to others—yes! So, 5 stars it is.I hope my review helped you today.
