This is the Satisfactory Option
Night and day.... Previous milk frother/heater offered too many glitches: milk chamber too narrow for human hands; tepid heating; left a difficult-to-scrub-off veneer of scalded milk around the little frothing gadget. I won't give names, but the French titled former item resembles a nuclear cooling tower. Stylish but somewhat feckless. So that was the "night" product. The daytime frother is nothing short of inspired and ultimately practical. Stainless heating/pouring chamber clearly marked for quantity of milk, broad base easily cleaned—inside diameter actually allows my fingers to do cleaning as needed. Does not scald the milk. Prodigious supply of foam, whoa. I had to find a second cappuccino cup to accommodate all of the light froth. Oh, and the temperature of its output seems perfect. Not burnt, but definitely never tepid.

Good but loose attachments
It is a good frother but the magnet on the attachments has worn out relatively quick leading to it being extremely loud while frothing and falling out at times. It is easy to clean but I wish the attachments were more secure

High Quality Milk Frother & Heater
I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but it turns out that I REALLY like it. I'm not normally a big fan of limited-use appliances that just take up counter space, but sometimes you just need one. I'm not a fan that our big bulky toaster only makes toast and otherwise doesn't pull its weight around the kitchen, but we make toast often enough that I'd be hard-pressed to live without it.I think it might be the same with this thing. We're a pretty dairy-heavy household, and we're often heating up milk for tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Milk is tricky, so we usually do it in a saucepan over low heat while standing there whisking so it doesn't scorch. This thing is WAAAY faster. It heats milk in 2-5 minutes, depending on how much you add to the pitcher, plus you've got the option of frothing it up. With four different settings (cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, or cold), plus the two different magnetic stirring attachments, you can experiment with several different ways to dial in the kind of froth you want - or don't.I'm really impressed with the quality so far. Everything feels really solidly built, from the base to the steel kettle to the plastic attachments. The detachable kettle cleans up pretty quick, though it can be a little tricky to scrub around the pin in the bottom center where the attachments lock in. Biggest complaint so far is the auto-shutoff feature that kicks in when it gets too hot. Practically, that means you can't heat up a batch of milk, then immediately pour in more milk for another go. You have to wait for a few minutes so everything can cool down. Not a problem for a small family like ours, but it could get tricky if you want to make a dozen hot drinks all at once. But those are pretty minor quibbles. Very pleased overall - enough that I'll clear some counter real estate for it.

Creamy peaks even with almond milk
This frother is amazing! I got thick frothy peaks with Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk. I know using cow's milk will probably be even more creamy but you can't even tell that I used almond milk. I added a tiny bit of sweet syrup and got a delicious sweet creamy foam. When I was first setting it up, I was bummed because I thought I was missing the milk attachment. I thought well, no big deal since I really would most likely only use the whisk attachment. To my surprise, the magnetic pull on the attachments is so strong that they were actually just sticking together. Putting the whisk attachment was very easy since again, the magnetic pull is strong. The frother cup is a thick metal so it will maintain the milk heat as it's working. I like that the motor is in the base so I don't need to worry about washing or submerging the cup in water.A few notations, it be nice if the base would have had suction cups on the bottom of it. It doesn't move around, but it's nice to make sure it's secure to the countertop. The attachments are easy to insert but a little tricky to remove. You need to pinch the edges for it to easily release. Don't pull on it, just pinch it lightly. The fill lines are inside the cup, so make sure you are able to see them. Otherwise you could probably mark the outside of it with a waterproof type marker. The frother works fantastic and I highly recommend it!

A great frother if you pay attention
Worked well. I did the latte setting for my first cup of coffee. I got hot frothed milk and a rather thick foam on top (see picture), which I'm pretty sure isn't standard in lattes, but I liked it anyway. The milk was sufficiently hot. I wanted to see how well it steamed milk and filled the pitcher to the max line and forgot to swap out the steamer attachment for the whisk one and ended up with milk on the hot plate underneath the pitcher (pictured). I should have known there were two max lines- lower for whisk and higher for steam, but wasn't thinking. The mess was rather difficult to clean up with all the grooves on the hot plate. Having a removable pitcher is a huge plus and the pitcher is pretty hefty for its size. In conclusion, it's a great frother as long as you are mindful of the max lines and the attachments.
