My favorite spatulas of all time
For the past 4 months, I have used all of these spatulas on a fairly regular basis. The spatula with the "funky shark fin" removes almost everything in grooves in the bottom of jars or cans, or that have angled sides, in pretty much one swipe, without having to repeatedly scrape. These are now my favorite spatulas (and I gave most of my other spatulas away). Also, I didn't realize just how many skinny jars, including cosmetic containers, I had that needed skinny spatulas until I bought this set.Today I see they are 35% off which is a great deal. When I bought mine 4 months ago, I paid full price, but even at that, they are worth it considering how frequently I use them and how much time and product saved. I have back issues and the longer I stand (scraping product out), the more pain. So anything that saves me time and pain is a real winner. I'm sure many of you know exactly what I'm talking about. The overall build quality is very good. Beware other cheaper brands - A couple years ago, I bought a cheaper set from another brand and the handles broke pretty quickly and exposed sharp metal rods. This brand has nice thick sturdy handles.Love the silicone because there's no microplastics, superior heat resistance, blades are firm but flexible, easy to clean, and lasts for decades. One more thing. If your kitchen drawers are already pretty well stocked and you think you won't have room for any more spatulas and wonder if you'll really use all of them, that's the same question I asked myself before buying. Turns out, I really do use them all, and they're narrow enough when turned on their edge to tuck away just fine in my drawer organizers, amidst the other tools. I keep one of the small-blade skinny ones in the bathroom drawer for cosmetics. When family comes to the house, they like to use these too. Might be a good stocking stuffer.
