Nice thermometer

Have not used it much yet, but I did check the accuracy with boiling water. It was less than one degree off. It is a little large, but that does make it easier to read the digital display. The plastic head pivots to adjust the viewing angle. The metal probe is nine inches long so it will work with larger pots. There is a switch to turn on and on the backlit display. Accurate and reliable

2 degrees off compared to boiling water and the "alarm" is only a blinking light which isn't helpful because If I have to be looking at it to see the alarm than I can see the temp. Alarm should be audible so you don't have to stare at it . That's the point of having it.
