Great little scale with thoughtful design
Really like this small portable pocket scale; it'll get a lot of use for tea in my case. Mechanically it's well built. The case is sturdy, though the grippy rubber lid might have been better on the bottom to keep the scale in one place in use. Platform is approximately 58x60mm, with no slop or wiggle. Clear instructions are printed on the inside of the lid for weighing, taring and calibration using the included 50g weight which has its own slot in the case.Operation is simple, just follow the lid instructions. Also, though not specifically mentioned, the scale does support progressive taring. It does seem to hold its self calibration well, never deviating from 50.00g. The display is easy to read from almost any angle, and has a bright backlight that automatically turns on at powerup or when the scale is used. Several conversions are built in and are consistent between units.Other than the include 50g calibration weight, no other weights were available to see just how accurate the scale is. It does match another scale +/- 0.1g which suggests it's at least in the ballpark. Repeatability is about 0.02g, which seems to mostly affect tare operations. The description mentions a USB cable, which was not included. As there's no USB port, and the scale operates on AAA batteries (included!), it's a mystery why USB would ever be mentioned. This reviewer didn't mind at all.In general it's an all around terrific little scale.

Good quality but expensive Digital Gram Pocket Scale
Overall, I would say this is a good quality but expensive Digital Gram Pocket Scale with 200 x 0.01g Accuracy. Compared to the highly rated and very popular similar scale, the “Weigh Gram Scale,” this scale is 50% more expensive, but I’m not sure it offers a 50% greater benefit. And while it’s just shy of an inch thick, it’s about the size of a large mobile phone. I liked that I could immediately test it for accuracy with the included 50g weight, but I did notice some slight variability with the reading depending on the location of the 50g weight on the weighing platform, whether it was on center or at one of the corners - all read at 50g, but whether I got a 50.15g or 50.10g or 50.11g reading variability depended on the location.PROS- Quality - Good quality but expensive Digital Gram Pocket Scale with 200 x 0.01g Accuracy. Delivers instant and precise results up to 200g.- Special Features - includes a 50g Calibration Weight and USB Cable for added convenience and accuracy. Stainless steel weighing platform. Auto Shut Off, Backlit Display, Tare Function.- 6 Mode Conversion - g, oz, dwt, ozt, ct, and gn.- Convenient basic instructions printed on the inner side of the cover for quick reference.- Looks - rugged style and design with a bit of a Sci-Fi effect on the case from the angled corners on the orange bumper to the black textured patterns on the top cover.CONS- Price - Expensive - compared to other highly rated models, this one costs 50% more.- The weighing platform is NOT removable - to clean, wipe with a slightly damp cloth.OTHER- Battery - 2x AAA batteries (included)- Size - 5.46”W x 3.09”D x 0.93”H- Weighing Platform size - 2.56x2.56-inch square

Compact size, surprisingly accurate performance.
This pocket scale is compact, accurate, and very easy to use. I bought it mainly for weighing tea, herbs, and small jewelry items, and it has been consistently reliable. Readings are fast and stable, and the scale remembers the last unit used, which saves time. While it offers several measurement units, grams and ounces are what I use most, and switching between them is simple.Accuracy is excellent for a scale this size. The included 50g calibration weight fits inside the case and allows you to verify and fine tune accuracy. Before calibration it was already close, and after calibration it repeatedly measured exactly 50.00g. Comparing it to known weights and a kitchen scale confirmed consistent results. The tare function works well, making it easy to weigh items in a dish or add ingredients without resetting everything. The stainless steel platform is easy to clean, and the rubberized edges help keep the scale from sliding, as long as it’s on a flat surface. It does need to sit level for accurate readings. Although rated for 200g, it can handle a little more, which is useful when using a light tray. The backlit display is bright and easy to read, with an auto-off feature to save battery life. The push-button controls feel solid, the latched lid protects the weighing surface, and the instructions printed inside the lid are a nice touch. It even comes with AAA batteries included, so it’s ready to use right away.Overall, this is a well made, dependable pocket scale that delivers precise results for small measurements. It’s practical, portable, and a great value for the price.
