Precision in Your Pocket: Discovering a Scale That Surprises
When my old scale suddenly stopped working, I dreaded the thought of having to buy a new one. The last time I checked, the more accurate scales were ridiculously expensive. To my surprise and delight, it seems the prices of scales have become much more reasonable. I never imagined getting a scale that measures to the thousandths of a point, and this one even came with a calibration weight – fantastic! No more scrambling to find enough nickels to weigh 50 grams. I definitely recommend it. Does not work, not accurate
Out the box, put new batteries, turned on, chose gram mode, tared the scale, placed the 50g weight on scale and it read 4.56 grams and jumped around alot. Followed the instructions to calibrate it and now no mater which mode and anything other than the 50 gram weight on the scale and the scale reads zero. A bic cigarette lighter should register something in gram or grain mode and just zeros. Put 6 grains of powder from my reloader on this and zeros. That could really cause damage or injury if someone over loads a shell. Save your time and life buy a quality scale. I am returning this ASAP.

Tiny Scale, Big Precision
This is a great little scale, perfect for my needs. I make my own herbal supplements by filling capsules with herbs I buy in bulk from my local herb shop, and this scale works quite nicely for that purpose. My capsule machine only fills 24 caps at a time, so the scale's small weight limit of 50 grams is just fine, even after having to tare out 20 grams for the right-sized container to weigh my herbs in. I don’t necessarily need the precision it offers (0.001g), but it sure is nice to achieve the consistency I'm looking for.The scale comes with tweezers, which is nice for handling the container I'm using, so I don’t add any extra weight from whatever might be on my fingers—this scale is that sensitive. Unfortunately, the little weighing pan is way too shallow for my needs. The provided spoon is great for adding or subtracting small amounts. I only wish all the extra stuff could have fit in the case as well.The case is of nice quality and pretty rugged. I would feel very comfortable traveling with it if I needed to for some reason. The calibration weight fits in there perfectly, and of all the included items, the case should definitely have space for it, so the scale can be calibrated and maintain its accuracy wherever it is. The calibration process is one step and SUPER easy.Very happy with this scale, and I love that it fits nicely in the bag that also holds my capsule filling machine, so everything can stay together. Very convenient.

This scale does a good job for measures into the tenths of a gram, more or less. the hundredths and thousandths seem to be a little iffy.Out of the box after inserting the batteries, I set the calibration weight on the plate to see where it landed and it was at 50.058g. Which is pretty good but not exactly perfect. I ran the calibration with the weight but it was still a bit off the next time I used it, always around 0.05g about.That said, it's pretty accurate TO that 5% of a gram range, and I mostly need it for cooking ingredients, sometimes you need only the tiniest bit of xanthan gum or the like, and this is plenty accurate for my needs.All other functions work well and it is in a somewhat clever magnetically closed case with a rubberized exterior. It also includes a few other small extras, a tiny scoop that i don't know the volume of as it's labeled in Chinese, a very small dish and a set of tweezers, it also included batteries, and all of these are plainly visible in the store page's main picture.
