It's nice quality and strong and a good design. It holds alot of dishes and it's good looking. I like the handles on the sides and the wood sides. I like the feet.
After recently stripping my kitchen down to the studs and rebuilding it from the ground up, I was determined to find a dish rack that matched the new space's class and style. I wanted to move away from clunky, industrial-looking drainers and find something that felt like a piece of furniture. With this Scandinavian-inspired rack, I absolutely hit the nail on the head.Sophisticated Scandinavian AestheticsThe design is breathtakingly clean. The combination of the crisp white, rust-resistant stainless steel frame and the natural wooden side panels creates a bright, airy feel that instantly elevates the countertop. It perfectly balances modern minimalism with the warmth of natural wood, making it look more like a deliberate design choice than a mere utility item. It is, without a doubt, the most stylish housewarming gift or personal upgrade you could choose for a modern kitchen.Intelligent and Stable OrganizationDespite its sleek profile, the layout is incredibly efficient. The removable utensil holder is surprisingly spacious, easily accommodating a large set of cutlery. I was particularly impressed by the varying widths of the plate slots; they securely hold everything from deep bowls to shallow plates upright, ensuring optimal airflow. The outward-angled, non-slip feet provide a rock-solid foundation, so I never have to worry about the rack shifting or tipping when fully loaded.Precision Drainage SystemOne of my biggest pet peeves with traditional drainers is the puddle of water that often collects underneath. This rack solves that with a precision-angled drainboard and a clever three-position adjustable spout. It channels water directly into the sink with seamless efficiency, keeping my brand-new countertops pristine and free from moisture stains. It’s a "set it and forget it" system that actually works.Effortless Maintenance and AssemblyThe assembly was a dream—no tools were required, and I had it set up in just a few minutes. Because the entire unit is fully detachable, deep cleaning is a breeze. The smooth surfaces and minimalist construction mean there are no hidden corners for grime to build up, ensuring the rack stays as hygienic as it is beautiful.Final VerdictIf you are looking to replace a dated drainer with something that exudes elegance and high-end design, this is the one. It fits perfectly on the counter without taking up excessive space, yet it handles a full load of dishes with ease. It’s the rare product that works even better than it looks, providing a clean, organized, and sophisticated look to any kitchen.
I ordered this dish drying rack to replace my old rusting rack. I like the compact size, and its light color palette feels cheerful. It is made of plastic and bamboo, so it sure won’t rust! The unit came with clear pictured instructions for assembling. The hardest thing was trying to decide which way I wanted the drain spout to go. Lucky for me, it was easy to attach and detach the spout. I tried out the spout on the long and short sides before settling on the long side. Decision-making aside, the unit was simple to assemble. The rest of the assembly involved attaching the feet to the frame. It is odd to me that they use rather long feet that push the unit up higher than necessary for the spout to clear. Also the feet are angled rather than straight, and they stand “tiptoe”, only a very small surface of each foot touches my counter. I consider these flaws detrimental to bearing weight. The frame of the rack is made of plastic. Each of the long sides has a bamboo panel screwed onto the plastic frame. The bottom of the frame is sloped to an off-center drain, and the drain spout is attached from the bottom. It can drain to any side except the side that holds the towel rack and utensils cup. The wire rack sits atop the drain pan with wires of different spacings to accommodate different sized dishes. The drain cup hangs on the towel rack outside of the frame, and drains back into the frame with its own chute. These functional aspects are well thought out.My unit came with a few defects on the wire towel rack and wire dish rack, where the surface layer has chipped off. It looks like they tried to cover these defects by painting white-out on the areas! Tsk tsk tsk! This is poor craftsmanship.Since I have a dishwasher, the most likely things I would put in the dish rack are cookware and utensils that should be hand washed, such as cast iron or wooden utensils. I placed a somewhat heavy 4qt dutch oven onto this rack. It gave a little and held up the weight, for now. I think those angled and tiptoeing feet are the weak link in this design, and will break the connectors to the main body some day.Even with a few shortcomings, I still like this dish drying rack a lot. I think it is well suited for small kitchens or small households.
As I often do around the start of a new year, I start looking for ways to change and improve my living space without a huge amount of effort. I ordered this dish drying rack to replace my smaller rack because it looked classy and efficient; I liked that it’s a bit larger and might allow me to dry several items, including pots and pans, after I’ve washed them.I did wonder about the bamboo and the effects from the obvious exposure to water that comes with wet dishes, so I did a little research. I found that while bamboo is not entirely waterproof, it is more resistant to water damage than other types of wood, so I decided to give this rack a try.It arrived with all parts wrapped and packaged very carefully, and the assembly directions, with pictures as well as instructions in several languages, were pretty clear. I did, however, briefly struggle with attaching the utensil holder but eventually made sense of the design. In my opinion, hanging even a small towel on the rack is not practical, which for me is not an issue. The parts of the dish rack are well made and seem sturdy, and it definitely holds more than dishes or pots than other racks I’ve owned. That said, because of its size, it is best used as a countertop dish rack.I like that I can remove the rack and utensil holder from the base unit to better wipe and clean/disinfect all surfaces when necessary.Overall, this dish rack is durable and should be long-lasting. It is comparable in price to similar racks, so it does appear to be a good value.
