A+ Rating from a Toddler Mom!
I'm really impressed with this Snackle Box! I noticed a couple mom friends of mine had fun snack boxes over the summer and as a toddler mom myself I have finally jumped on the bandwagon! There are a lot of things I appreciate about this specific snack box:- At first I wasn't sure if I'd like that the compartments were one molded piece (why, I don't know) but since I do not have a dishwasher and wash everything by hand, it's great because it is only one tray unit to wash and there are no additional cups to wash or keep track of like some others.- Since there are no individual cups, the compartments are deeper while still keeping a low profile. There is a lot of snack space!- will fit perfect in a cooler and sit flat on/under a blue Ice sheet. Will travel well regardless.- The condiment cups with lids are a nice feature to have if transporting jams/dips/etc. I also think the round compartments would fit stacks of crackers or cookies too when not using the cups.- The lid has really strong locking mechanisms and has a seal around the rim so everything will stay secure in the event of a drop- I also like the food pick and spoon that comes with and how they have their own little storage space within the locking lid- The lid has a round scale to mark the date on the lid, which is a nice addition if keeping things like meats/cheeses in this container for an extended period of timeThere are a couple things that I noticed that aren't a super big deal to me but might be deciding factors for you:-With there not being individual snack compartment cups within the unit, you might have to bring additional snack cups for serving- the snack fork/food pick occasionally will slip out of it's organizing compartment if the box is tilted or the lid is opened on one side- the condiment cups are a little chintzy in quality compared to the rest of the unit. I don't imagine any spills but since everything else is more heavy duty it was a noticeable difference- there is approximately 1/4" space between the lid and the compartments when locked, so in the event of a drop, you may have smaller items get jostled and try to migrate to another compartment- the number markers on the date tracker are a little hard to see but I'm probably not using that often if at allOverall, this is an excellent choice not just for moms but for anyone transporting snacks to any event!
