I love the bell design. I’ve been eyeballing this type of jigger for awhile and I’m so glad I finally got one. My only regret is not trying this style out when I was working in places that required jiggering. The color of this one is beautiful and fun and appears to be long lasting.
We got this as a birthday gift for my husband’s friend. The two of them think they’re “mixologists”! It’s hard to buy for someone who already had a lot. I love the matte black. It looks classy! I got this to replace a Japanese jigger that was pretty inaccurate, and because I liked the iridescent look of the outside. Unfortunately, I find that, when I compare it to the measurements on a name brand measuring cup, this jigger is somewhat inaccurate, depending on which measurement you're using. It seems that the larger measurements, like 2 oz is more inaccurate than the smaller measurements, like 1/2 oz. The 1 oz measurement is somewhere in between.So, I don't really trust that this device provides accurate measurements when making drinks that call for specific amounts. If it calls for 2 oz for one ingredient, but half an ounce of another, the proportions will be off.Some pros:The markings are fairly easy to read.It's very well made, with a good heft and finish.The iridescent coating on the outside looks really nice and is probably the coolest thing about this product.Cons:Aside from the inaccurate measurements, the other main con is the price - at $27 this is really pricey for what it is.Bottom line: this is a cool looking, well made jigger, but unfortunately is not accurate with its measurements.
