Very Well-Designed Bamboo Corner with Great Storage Capacity

I love love love this double corner bread box. The instructions are very easy to follow & all parts are included. The bamboo wood is smooth; all hinges open and close without issues, the doors open easily and seal very well. The windows are clear & make it easy to view items. I have low hanging cabinets and was unable to place on my counter however it sits well in a bookcase in my guest room, so I am using to place items for a small coffee/tea bar. It stores so many items & it easy to organize with the doubled box compartments. I have so many compliments on this well-designed Corner Box & it is a great value for the price.

Spacious, Stylish Bamboo Bread Box—Great Quality but Tricky Assembly

I ordered the Double Corner Bread Box Storage for Countertop in natural bamboo for $44.99 which I think is a fair price given the quality and generous size. The bread box measures 16 x 13.8 x 16.5 inches and it’s a very nice addition to any kitchen.The quality is excellent and I personally find no chemical smell present. The bamboo looks beautiful, feels sturdy and the double stack design is extremely practical. The top compartment is perfect for chips, snacks or other items while the bottom holds breads, pastries or larger baked goods. The magnetic door frames are a thoughtful touch keeping the doors from just dropping open. As a corner bread box it’s ideal for saving countertop space but make sure you have the right spot in mind before ordering.Assembly however was a bit of a struggle for me. I ended up damaging part of the box when screws went through the bamboo. Here’s a tip: don’t fully tighten the screws at first. Place them in their spots, turn them a couple of times just to align everything and only fully tighten once everything is aligned. This prevents misalignment and makes assembly much smoother. It took me about 45 minutes which was longer than expected but it’s entirely doable with patienceOverall, I’m very pleased with the bread box. The size, functionality and look make it a great purchase. I just wish assembly had been a bit easier. With careful handling this bread box is absolutely worth it.

Holds Quite a Bit & Easy Assembly

I can't look at this bread box without thinking of my father. Many years ago, he built a similar breadbox for my mother. It's not exactly the same. The one my father built wasn't made of bamboo, and it was only one tier, but other than that, it was much like this one and I am a sentimental person.So I couldn't resist ordering it.I was a little worried about how much space it would take up on my counter as I don't have a large kitchen. I really like this because it doesn't take up any more room on my counter than the one I had. But because it has the t sections, it holds quite a bit more. I also really like the aesthetic of it. I am into modern farmhouse decor and this is just my style .I would have reviewed it sooner, but i'm not at all handy, so I had to have my grandson assemble it for me. He is a full-time college student and works there. It took a little bit of time for him to get time to do it, but he's a sweetheart.I don't know if it's helps his Oma. It really took him no time to put it together. He said, once he had it all out of the box, he just knew what to do.And it took him less than half an hour to do it. I was surprised at how quickly it went. His brother did help him a little so that's probably part of why it went quickly.Overall, I really like it and i'm glad that I ordered it. Now I'll have this sentimental reminder of my parents and it doesn't take up a lot of space but holds everything.I need it to. I really like the bamboo wood. Look. Because it has 2 tiers. I always feel like i'm getting two bread boxes in one which I guess I am.

Directions not great

First, this looks pretty nice when it is out together. It is made from solid bamboo that seems like it will hold up for a while. It has two shelves, which is nice because it's rather tall and just did under my cabinets in the corner. For me, this is perfect, because that space was previously underutilized. I am using the bottom for bread and the top for extra spices.Here are some things that could be a bit better. First, the assembly instructions lack clarity. I had a bunch of left over pieces and screws off different sizes. Some of the smaller screws obviously are for the door hinges, but I don't understand why they're were different sizes for the rest of the assembly and the instructions didn't clarify. I would recommend assembling the too middle and bottom shelf first on one side, then add the other side. The holes can be difficult to line up, so hand screw to make sure you are hitting the pre-drilled holes.One other issue I had is the top door hinge doesn't open fully, since this just sits under my cabinet, getting into the top shelf is difficult. A better designed hinge would allow the door to open more fully.
