This delivers the most perfect cup of tea. I use a course green tea in the infuser and not one piece of loose tea got into the cup. The cup is beautifully made and I love the double glass design keeping the heat inside the cup but the outside remains cool/touchable, and the handle design is very comfortable. I highly recommend for your own personal use or giving as a gift to a tea lover.

At 14 ounces, this gives me the option of a larger cup of tea if I feel so inclined, or a standard smaller one. Either way, the metal infuser basket will reach the water level, and the tea will steep. When it’s finished steeping, the basket fits inside of the inverted glass lid, which is very convenient. I'm completely satisfied with this mug and the delicious tea it steeps, and I happily recommend it—it brightens my day.

I really like this mug, but there’s one thing to know going in. If you’re using really fine loose leaf tea, some of it will slip through the strainer. For normal loose leaf it works great, but for super fine stuff you’re probably going to want to pair it with a bit of cheesecloth or an extra filter. Where it shines is with looser blends and add-ins – I love tossing in dried fruit and letting everything steep together. I usually let it sit hot, then cool it down, stick it in the fridge, and later pour it over ice. It makes a really nice, clean-tasting drink.The glass just makes everything taste better to me. No plastic aftertaste, nothing leeching into the drink, just the flavor of whatever you brewed. The mug itself is simple to use, and I really like the little lid. It’s perfect for someone like me who doesn’t always finish a drink in one sitting – I can just cover it and stick it back in the fridge to come back to it later. The glass does feel a bit thin in some spots and almost “plastic-like” to the touch, but it is glass, and so far it’s held up with no cracking or issues. For the price, I think it’s a great piece of everyday gear, and I use it regularly.
