What You Need to Know and See

Real Unboxing this morning. All in all this is a really solid and nice knife. You are not going to get much better without spending much much more. Sure we all love bespoke knives. But keeping them safe and sound is just a nuisance. Everything has a time and place. So, as a kitchen professional you come across a lot of knives. Some are expensive and suck. Some are cheaper and surprise you. This was a surprise.Great look. Great balance. Easy to clean. Easy to keep sharp.Get one before the price goes up.All day, everyday chopper.Big score.Probably going to get a couple more. You know how you take a bottle of wine to as a guest. I end up taking a knife because I end up in the kitchen. This is the one.

Nice and sharp

My husband is a chef and is always checking out new knives. He loves the design of this one, so I got it for him to try it out. He says it is light and has a balanced weight. He also said it seems very sturdy. It's going to be one he uses in his regular rotation. Great price for this one, too!

Not sharp

Really big. I had to learn how to use it. I'm looking for alternatives to replace it.

Nice for the price

Very sharp out of the box, ergonomically comfortable, holds an edge fairly well - just use a ceramic honing stick before or after use. The "damascus effect" is definitely only cosmetic, IMO. But who cares at this price point as it's non-functional anyway.
