Looked for these coasters since I bought a few iron side tables for the bedrooms and since I always have water by the bed needed a coaster that would make it less noisy to place my glass and look appropriate with everything else in the room. These do a wonderful job and look amazing. Style and function for sure. People like the little case for them too. It’s the small things really.
Wow do these bad boys absorb liquid. Never a drip from iced drinks any more, even on hot days. And so easy to clean. Love them.
The problem with these is they're not at all absorbent but rather the condensation drips right through them onto the surface below.However, Amazon also sells flat cork coasters which can be glued to the bottom of these for the best of both worlds. It soaks through these and stays in the felt and on top of the cork and does not contact the surface below but it's also wicked away from the glass.I used simple Elmer's waterproof wood glue to glue these to the cork coasters beneath. Both items are 4 in / 10 cm.
I have a lot of real wood / Amish furniture in my house. I prefer the look of stone coasters, but unfortunately house guests can't be trusted with them as they can scratch tabletops when people aren't careful. These are pretty much perfect for protecting your tabletops. They're soft so they won't scratch, and are super absorbent. They also don't stick to the bottom of a wet glass like some of the cork coasters do. (There's another great way to wreck a tabletop - if a heavy coaster sticks to the bottom of a glass and then falls off onto the table when someone picks the glass up.)Personally I like the grey color, since I prefer neutral colors. The stitching around the edge also gives them a nice "finished" look. Also - as another reviewer noted - the holder is nice, but is useless for my purposes since I just keep these stacked in a drawer.
The little holder is poorly glued (clearly, it's just glue) and split apart at the seams almost immediately. The coasters are just fine but I did want a simple stylish holder to keep them together.
Perfect coasters for mu new counters. Soft and absorbent. Great look too!
All I wanted. I have glass coffee table and glass dinning table, having these coasters puts ease on my mind. I also love the fact that it comes with a case. Very light weight. Absorbs condensation really well yet quick and easily to air dry.
