Great all purpose set for the kitchen

I love to refresh my kitchen knives and more often than truly needed, truth be told, because when I see a set that looks like it can take care of all my needs, I'm keen to give them a try. This set, however, caught my eye because of that wonderful all purpose cleaver because it was a nice, wide blade, wider than any other that I have currently. The set it larger than I expected, which is NOT a problem at all, and they have a nice balance and hand feel when I'm using them. Thus far I haven't used them with anything 'sticky' to see just how non-stick they actually are, but, for what I've used them for at this point, they were lovely. Sharp, well balanced and the handles don't slip when my hands are a bit wet while I'm elbow deep in meal prep. All in all, a great investment!

They're ok.

They seem fine for cheap knives. Very lightweight which is both a pro and a con. Blade feels a little flimsy. I got these because they are compatible with magnetic knife strips. I tried it out to male sure they stuck to the magnet. They did, however upon removing it the black paint came right off. Literally put it on, took it right back off and the paint was chipped. I now have doubts about quality and potential rust where the chip is. The green color is very pretty. I sliced a raw potato and it did fine, felt a little bendy though. Sharpness was acceptable but not remarkable. We'll see how they last.
