Really impressed with this!
I ordered this because there are times I want to cook food that leaves lingering odors and I don't want that in the house. This allows me to cook outside and still have the food I want without smelling up the house. For the record, it's also great for inside cooking when you need a larger burner area. I have used a very large 16qt pot that has to cross two burners and while this does have a small and a large, they are close enough together to allow me to use both, whereas the burners on the stove are too far apart and I only get one burner in front and the edge of the burner in back. While that's helpful for cooking two different things in a pan - like browning onions on one side and meat on the other - it's not ideal for when the onions and the meat go together and only half the pan is really getting heated. There are different options for heating. Not just C/F but also wattage, so you can have more control over which is going to work best for what you're cooking. As a test subject, I used my regular cast iron pan and cooked eggs. The cast iron heated up at least as fast as on the stove, and the heat was even, but what I liked best is that because the heat is even, it does not cycle on and off like most stovetops so the eggs cooked perfectly. The only thing I found funny is on the labeling on the burner, it says front and behind instead of front and back... lol. It doesn't change the function of anything but it's amusing. The cooktop has a double ring burner that can be used as either the single or the double for a larger heating surface. There's one button to control that. Once for the smaller, twice for the larger, and an indicator light for which option is on. Being infrared, it does not turn red like in the listing photo - that is obviously for clarity of the burner size when considering for purchase. Because the cooktop does not look hot, you need to be aware that it may be... not just by feel but visually, too. For that, there's a HOT indicator that says exactly that, in big letters, until the burners cool down. There's also a timer on each, so if there's something you need to cook for a specific time, just set the timer and it turns itself off. Of course, it's going to be hot longer than that time until the residual heat dissipates but the timer is there and a great option. The cord is a good, thick, well-sheathed cord with a grounded plug. It's a few feet long, which is long enough to reach most any outlet in a kitchen. It's not good for things like this to have really long cords, not just for the resistance but also for safety. I had it on for quite a while, cooking and testing, and the cord did not get warm at all, as it shouldn't. The manual states to use only on a heat-resistant surface because the bottom can get hot but I did not find any heat loss through the bottom of the unit at all. There was no warmth at all from the bottom or the sides, only the top, which is great,The manual is very clear, with lots of additional information about watts and amps and how those affect the usability of things and what you should look for to best suit your needs. A few typos, but nothing weird or obvious that someone who didn't know what they were talking about wrote it. The manual makes me feel better about the thought someone put into the product.I am going to get a lot of use out of this. I cook a lot, and this is so useful and well-made, that I have every reason to pull it out and use it as an excuse to cook even more...

The Unit Can be Used as a Countertop Appliance or Installed as a Built-In Burner
This electric hot plate provides strong heating performance with clear wattage and temperature controls. The unit offers 10 levels of wattage adjustment from 150W to 1800W and a wide temperature range in both °F and °C. Switching between modes is straightforward, and Temp mode allows more precise surface temperature management. The radiant heating element uses a dual‑coil design that supports fast heat‑up and stable temperature output. The construction is dense and insulated to reduce heat loss and maintain consistent performance. Maximum power reaches 1800W, and the burner can heat quickly when needed.Noise levels remain low at approximately 45–55 dB. The infrared heating system is compatible with all cookware types, including stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, ceramic, and glass. The burner supports cookware up to 7.87 inches in diameter and up to 44 lb in weight. The unit can be used as a countertop appliance or installed as a built‑in burner. It includes a reinforced bottom plate, non‑slip feet, and a compact overall size suitable for kitchens, RVs, dorms, and other small spaces.Heating is even across the surface, supported by a high‑precision thermostat that helps prevent hot spots. Reliable Cooktop That Heats Quickly and Works Well
I’ve been using this dual burner electric cooktop for everyday cooking, and it’s been a solid performer. Both burners heat up quickly and evenly, and having separate watt and temperature controls makes it easy to get the heat right without guessing. I’ve used it for boiling, frying, and simmering, and it handled each task without any issues. The ceramic surface is smooth and easy to clean, and the unit itself feels sturdy without taking up too much counter space. I also like that it can be used as a portable cooktop or installed as a built in, depending on what you need.Overall, it’s a dependable, simple cooktop that does exactly what it promises. A great option if you need extra burners or a compact cooking setup.

Convenient and portable (good for power outages with power stations)
Like another reviewer noted, I noticed things didn't line up quite right on my cooktop. But it mostly works fine, so not a big deal for me. I won't be using this regularly. I got it to run off a portable power station during outages mostly. And it works fine with one of the larger power stations I have (this is high wattage, so it won't work with most of them). While it's OK as a countertop device when you only need it temporarily, it would definitely look nicer installed, sitting more flush with a counter. It seems generally well-made outside of the alignment issue. But we'd have to use it repeatedly to be sure about things like how safe it is and to know how well it will run on a battery during extended outages. But so far, so good. It's light enough that it isn't hard to pull it out when you need it, then move it to storage once you're finished and it's cleaned up.
