Good set of stainless measuring cups & spoons with clear markings

The Dusico Measuring Cups and Spoons feel like a decent quality set with decently thick stainless steel and color coded handle grips.The handles on the cups have 4 small spot welds that seem to be sturdy and I expect them to stand up to repeated use without loosening over time.Both the cups and the spoons have color coded silicone grips that help identify the sizes at a glance (once you've learned the system). Additionally, the sizes are stamped into the metal reasonably deeply with a a large enough font to make identification less effort (a bugbear I have about other measuring sets).Each set comes with a large snap ring that keeps them together and makes it easy to remove one to use out of the bunch if desired. The rings are convenient for hanging these and allow for better drying instead of storing in a drawer.They have been through the dishwasher a couple of times with no problems so far, but are also easy to clean by hand.Pretty happy with these and I'm expecting them to last me a long time.

Good Set, but Rough Edges

A solid choice

This measuring cup and spoon set is solid, practical, and a nice upgrade from lightweight plastic versions. The stainless steel feels sturdy but not heavy, and I like that the cups have some weight to them without being bulky. They nest neatly together and don’t take up much drawer space, which is a big plus.The color-coded silicone handles are comfortable to grip and make it easy to quickly grab the size you need. The engraved measurements are clear and easy to read and should hold up well over time. I also appreciate that the set includes less common sizes like 1/8 cup and 1/4 teaspoon, which is really useful for baking.Everything cleans easily in the dishwasher and doesn’t seem to retain odors or residue. Perfectly adequate to the task

First up, I checked each of these against my reference set of measuring tools: the set I got from my grandmother, made of aluminum, probably from the 1940's. And all of them line up identically, although I couldn't test the 1/4 cup because I lost that one years ago. I used two scoops of 1/8 and that measurement matched. So I can confirm they are the right sizes. That's the single most important thing about measuring cups and spoons of course, and this set passes.The handles are something of a personal preference -- the thick rubber on these makes them bulbous and they don't stack neatly as a result. But they feel nice in the hand and are grippy so I don't have any trouble holding on to them. I like them overall but I can see how some people would prefer a flatter handle that stacks tighter.Weight and thickness was about what I expected. Thick enough to hold their shape and stand up against dropping on the floor, getting jammed in my junk drawer, etc... I can't think of any ingredient you would measure with these that would make them bend or deform.Overall it's hard to get excited about measuring cups, but these are a perfectly adequate set. Recommended.
