The ceramic cup has a vibrant butterfly design with big comfortable handle. The plastic slide to drink lid seats firmly due to the silicone. It's generously sized and fits in my cup holder with room to spare.This is a great cup with a beautiful design. It would make a really nice gift.
I am sure the cup itself is just fine in terms of functionality, but the printed design on it is not as vibrant and crisp as the images made it seem. The background is dark gray instead of black and the colors are dull and muted and slightly blurry. I was expecting the image quality to be the same as the other cup I have and more like the box it came in, so I was disappointed when I took it out and it looked significantly different. I am a very visual person and the color difference takes it from "love it" to "meh". I have no desire to stock my cabinet with "meh" cups. If I go out of my way to spend money on a specific pretty one, I want to "love it". It's a lovely gift for someone less visually picky. A double gift because it also comes with a pretty box that could be used for other things and displayed on a shelf. Im sure the cup works fine, but if colors and patterns matter to you, maybe chose a different brand or a different pattern.
They need better quality boxing mine arrived with broken and mangled box. Mug is easy to hold, good capacity and pretty.My mug was intact but couldn’t use it for gifting on Christmas due to broken box. Recommend using amazon box for extra protection.Later I bought another mug for myself, that also came with broken box. if you’re buying as a gift, buy well in advance so you can ask replacement in time.
