Goodbye to flaking pan material in my eggs!

What a well made pan! Heavy gauge all stainless steel. Very good thickness, cool handle, heavy bottom and no warping. I clean it out while still warm and leftover residue comes right out! I have to get used to using lower heat to cook with. Thanks for a great product!

What a little workhorse!

First let it be known that the handle on this beefy little skillet is SMOOTH and WAY COMFORTABLE!It’s also not so shallow, it can hold a lot, and you can still flip food in it...didn’t think so at first, but wrong!I love it.And since it’s kind of deep, you can deep fry in it and not have to use a ton of oil to do it.I originally bought the Duxtop 8” glass lid to mate on a new calaphalon 8” skillet at the same time.but that doesn’t work, And, the Calaphalon skillet handle had ridges under it that really dug into your fingers, no way!so I sent that back, got the Duxtop 8” as long as I already had the lid, and Bam!! This is my favorite now.As soon as I picked up the handle, it had me. I’ll switch out all my bigger stainless skillets to Duxtop ones in time...Their handles are what I have been missing out on with ANY pan, pot, or skillet I’ve ever used. This 8” Duxtop is super solid. I’ll never have to buy another small skillet again. The top is the bomb too....but that handle..Amazing!!

Quality matters

High quality pan, you can tell even from packaging. Handles are not cheap, no scratches or sharp edges. I am impressed with the quality engineers and makers put into this pan. I don't know where it was made but I will bet it is not made in China.I am also happy that I returned Inqibee 10 inch pan which has 4.2 star fake reviews from China. First time buyer here. I wish it had a cover as well. Thank you!

this is NOT a 10 inch skillet

This fry pan was purchased as a 10 inch skillet as per the ad; it is a 10.75 inch pan. I was told by the Duxtop rep that the 10 inch skillet was measured from the BOTTOM of the pan. I told her I had never heard of a skillet being measured from the bottom. She said the replacement glass lid would fit it, so I ordered the lid; it did NOT fit the pan. Back it went after a second Duxtop rep told me they didn't even make a lid for the so called 10 inch skillet. I am keeping this pan because it is a great pan but sure wish the ads had been clearer for the pan & lid. Even the chart in the ad is incorrect.

Very good fully clad pan

This is a very good pan to have. The handle is comfortable the pan itself is thick. If you control your temperature well enough and use the right fat you'll have something that's rather non-stick. Also take note that a lot of the non-stick properties of stainless steel has a lot to do with technique and temperature control so your mileage will vary. In my case it works perfectly for scrambled eggs.

Only the 12 inch comes with the lid!

I purchased the 10 inch version of this. The product description for it mentions a Stainless-steel lid, but to my surprise I didn't receive one. So I checked the product page again and found the subtle difference in the product feature lists for the different sizes. I think Amazon should make the distinction more apparent and update the product description to reflect this difference.I've previously purchased a Duxtop saucepan and was happy with its quality so I decided to go with the same brand, and I find their quality to be consistent. As another reviewer has mentioned, the inside finishing could be smoother, but I don't think it's a deal breaker given its price point. The pan has a nice weight to it and feels more solid than other pans in same price range I've tried in stores. The walls are thick since it has a aluminum core sandwiched between stainless steel. I especially like the handle. It's big, ergonomical, and stays cool, because it's all metal I feel safe to use it in oven. And it's connected with rivets, a design you usually find in more expensive pans.-1 star for the lack of lid and rough finish, otherwise I find it offers unbeatable value for its price.11/18:I'm taking this from a 4 star to a 3 star. Recently I moved to a different apartment with a ceramic range instead of a gas range. And I noticed the pan is not flat on the bottom and it does not sit evenly on the range. I don't know if the bottom of the pan was uneven since I bought it or if it warped from usage, but I can't recall I've ever overheated the pan to cause it to warp, so this is rather disappointing.

High quality fry pan

We bought this induction ready cook pan together with duxtop cooktop. I love this cooking pan, it looks and feels just the same as all clad. There is a thick aluminum core between two layers of stainless steel across the bottom of the pan and the sides. The outside layer is magnetic stainless steel making it induction compatible. The heat distributes fast and evenly, so we do not need to use high heat. At medium heat, it does not stick and cooks as fast too. At high heat, it does stick a little bit, I think it may because of the overheating. If food burn, there is only one reason, temperature is too high. So you need to use lower heat. And medium and low heat help to keep the kitchen clean, less oil burned into air. Again, this is a great cookware, saved us a lot of money, and we do not have to use non-stick pan ever.
