Very well made and very effective in getting that fajita "sizzle" going. I heat these up on my gas grill, quickly char the meat and vegetables on the grill grate, and then put them on these preheated cast iron plates. Works perfectly, with a great presentation; that sizzle at the table really impresses guests.
m very happy with this cast iron skillet. It came pre-seasoned and ready to use, and the build quality is excellent—nice and heavy, with a solid feel. I’ve used it for searing, sautéing, and even baking cornbread, and it performs beautifully every time. Heat distribution is even, and it retains heat very well. Cleaning and maintaining it is easy with proper care. This is a great value for anyone who loves cooking with cast iron. Highly recommended!
Well-made. It heats evenly and holds heat well, perfect for fajitas and other sizzling dishes. The removable handle is convenient and the wooden base makes serving easy and safe. Great for both kitchen use and BBQs.
This product has several issues. Despite seasoning the plates, everything sticks like crazy. If you look at the photos, you will see - after ONE use: (1) the coating (or lack thereof) on plates makes them impossible to clean (2) the letters "DVK" are branded on to the serving boards making it look like they are personalized and therefore stolen (3) the plates immediately burn the serving wood trays leaving them looking disgusting. Would NOT recommend
I thought it could be heavy, but it’s actually easy to use. Pretty nice for steaks. I like the design.
It doesn’t show it in any of the photos, but the boards are initialed with DVK on them and I just found that odd. Nothing structurally wrong but more of a eye sore.
