The parts looked like they are good quality. The installation instructions were a big help. Removing the old gear was the toughest part because it had been in there for many years. After that the job only took about 10 minutes. Works like a charm now so the kitchen staff are happy. The price seems plenty high.
I saved my self and my budget a lot of wasted money. I installed these (it's an easy process I assure you) instead of replacing an old worn out can opener and now it works like brand new. A simple procedure for most and highly cost effective!
It’s nice to be able to get a repair kit for this piece of equipment but $90.00$50 at the most would be the right price

Week gear needs to be made with better steel
I'm trying to understand why this blade and gear costs $78 when the edlund #1 can opener knife replacement is $10. Is this thing made from some rare Earth metal? The #1 can opener is better than the s11/u12, it's stronger and the parts are cheaper.
