Nicely made wood serving platter
The simple wood platter is nicely made with a bit of a rim and easy to see natural wood grain. It looks like it will be ideal for serving soft cheeses, and that it's not too big, and will really highlight the various cheese wedges and small rounds that we would put out on this platter with some cheese knives. But it would work for a ride of other things especially since it has a bit of a rim to keep things from rolling off it such as cherry tomatoes. Just keep in mind that it is not that big, about 9 in across

Good for small snacks
Quality of this seems fine, it took a washing without any issues. The lip of the plate is almost a little sharp. But it does have that nice little lip to contain food. It's a nice flat surface, all the way to the lip. It'll do nicely for small snacks.Note about the size, the description reads 23 cm, which is accurate. However, it's called a "Serving Platter", and platter by definition is "a large flat dish or plate". This is not a large size. It's the size of a salad plate. Great for serving a smaller snack.

Very Nice
The wood has no seams, cracks, or chips... It seems to be perfectly crafted.It is smooth but not polished, so it is ready to be customized or sealed.I am using this for a laser engraving project, for which it is a perfect candidate.It is about the size of a small plate at about 9 inches across.Very Nice!

It's wood
Little serving tray (platter is probably stretching it). It's is made from wood, and looks reasonably nice, but the construction is a bit a sloppy. Circular tooling marks are plainly visible (see picture). The wood, especially on the bottom also feels pretty rough (I'm sure this will smooth out with use, but it's not nice to touch out of the box). Overall, this could definitely have used another pass with finer sand paper. Also, while it came wrapped in plastic wrap that seemed like it would have done an ok job protecting it, it also had noticeable scratching on one area of the top. This might again disappear or be less noticeable with use and oiling, but it's not a great look out of the box.

Wooden plate yes, serving "platter" not so much.....
I wouldn't call this a "platter" by any stretch of the imagination, but it IS a pretty bamboo plate. It would be great for a small cheese and cracker snack plate for one or two peeps, it's not really sized for more than that. Throw a little cheese, some crackers, grapes, apple slices, etc on it for a quick lunch with an elegant touch. Perfect for me and the hubby.

A bit too pricey
This is a lovely wooden plat but for the size it should cost half as much. It seems to be good quality, but I still cannot justify the price. Pay attention to sizing- this is smaller than I had expected ( but that is my fault for not paying attention). If this were to go on a very good sale I would get more, but again just think it is too expensive for what you get.
