These came together in a bag that seemed too small to have both items inside. I was happy to find both safely tucked inside a vacuum sealed bag.Upon opening the package, my husband quickly donned the apron went out to gather eggs. We have a mix of older and younger hens and that means variety of eggs sizes, all sizes fit fine in the pockets of the apron. The apron has a total of 12 pockets and he didn't put more than 1 per pocket so I can't say if doubling up would cause any to tumble out or break. Our walk to the coop isn't far and an easy walk. We transferred the eggs to the basket to see how they would fit and they settled in the little pockets well.The basket has 7 pockets and it seems it will hold several more eggs by doubling up in some of the openings if your eggs are on the smaller side. The pockets are connected along their sides but all open to the bottom layer. There is a layer of what feels like some kind of foam material under the eggs sandwiched between two pieces of fabric which seems to give the bottom of the basket some structure.The colors are vibrant and true to what was shown on my computer screen and the label on the apron says 100% cotton, the basket is the same material with no label.I'm looking forward to using these cheerful pieces to collect our eggs!Update:This set is still fun. My husband does most of the egg collecting and he is still using the "basket" for that. He is considering removing some of the dividers in the basket as the eggs tend to be heavy and fall under the fabric dividers to where it's hard to get them out as it is. I'm going to look at it again and see if maybe adding a few stitches to hold the bottom and the dividers together might be a better fit. I will try and update as we make any modifications.

Absolutely love this little apron with its matching basket. The apron is flattering, made from a soft fabric, and has a cute design. The egg pockets are plentiful and constructed in a way that gives me peace of mind. In case your hens have laid more than a dozen eggs, the basket holds at least another 7 or so. My test eggs were on the smaller side, so I found that I could comfortably double up in pockets if needed without risking spillage.This apron is adorable and would make an awesome gift!

Urban Chicken Farm Accessories!!
This adorable egg basket and apron came in a vacuum packed package. The images depicted in the vendor's ad are spot on of what you receive. The color is bright and the chicken print is very cute. They are both well sewn with sturdy stitches. We only have three laying hens but they supply us with plenty of eggs daily. We are thrilled to have these tools to collect our eggs safely. The basket can hold two eggs per slot safely. This is a great purchase and a great value for the price.
