Great Machine
3 of us pitched in and bought this fryer for our family parties. We used it twice already and it works great. It does take a little longer to heat up as we live in the midwest and used it outside. You do have to use 2 different outlets if you are using it at home, so have a couple of extension cords handy. We fried French fries, Jalapeño Poppers, cheese sticks and chicken tenders. It was fun using it, cleaning was not difficult at all, just took a little time. Hope to have this last us a long time. Customer service was very attentive to our questions as well.

Fry 4 - 5 pounds of chicken at-a-time in 15 minutes, (After it is pre-heated.)
I have been using this for months. I can fry 4 - 5 pounds of chicken at-a-time. It takes a bit to get hot; but, it is still tolerable. The only thing I would like improved is the ability to clean. There are areas that must be cleaned that I cannot get to. Those areas should be completely sealed and closed off to keep grease from accumulating. It takes me about thirty minutes to clean after each use.For the money, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Don't spend the money - other options will be better
I bought this in Jan and used it probably 20 times in the 9 months. I changed and cleaned it multiple times, but it is garbage. This thing overheats constantly, I put a few (4) of thawed chicken wings in it at 325 and it boils over, I just had to reset it today when it completely stopped heating . So with nothing in it and set at 250, it all the sudden boiled over and spilled everywhere. I guess they want you to spend money on the warranty which is a joke, I should be able to use it more than 20 times and not be a mess. I have owned a few others over the years that lasted for much longer for less than half the price. Way to expensive for the horrible quality. Don't buy or you will be here leaving your own review!

Takes a while to heat up- good Fryer
Takes a long time to heat up, but once hot, it works well. It's not great for frying frozen things such as fries or chicken wings. It's better for room temperature or cool things. The frozen items drop the temp by 100 degrees and it takes way too long to recover. It's better suited for very low volume cooking, and items that are not frozen. I ordered a second one, it gets the job done for certain items. Don't expect the performance of a 220v or a gas fryer, and you wont be disappointed

The Modern Way to Fry
This fryer is much easier and more ergonomic than using a skillet. 1) It is easy to clean & dump the used oil. 2) I ddon't worry about grease popping on me or the counter like a regular skillet. 3) I only use my skillet for bacon & eggs. 4) The oil surrounds your food; you will never have to turn your food. 5) It is safer, because it can fit further back on your counter and it is not easy to tip over.

Keep Cover on when Cooking
Keep cover on when cooking. Cooking oil will spatter on contros.Requires a large quantity of oil. Very thin metal. Takes a long time to heat at 350°..
