    Good for pancake batter

    It works for for thin batters, like for pancakes. But it is not the best option for anything thicker, like for donuts or muffins. It will work for the first half of thicker batters, as long as there is weight to push the batter through the hole, but the second half simply sits and has to be removed with a spoon or spatula if there is no more batter to add for additional weight. I'm still happy with the dispenser, because I make pancakes often and it does make that easier with less mess and it is easy to clean. Recommended for making pancakes, crepes, or waffles. It is also useful for adding frosting to the tops of pastries.
