    Works great. Just right size for a 6-8 person batch of pancakes.

    Using this dispenser does mean getting one more dish dirty and one more thing to store in the cupboards. It is worth it because it also means far less drip mess cleanup and faster easier more-controlled dispensing. (I guess you could both mix in and dispense from this container, but mixing in a larger wider bowl is easier. If you were just mixing a small batch, this larger 5-cup size could work for mixing. I would just use this for dispensing.)This model works great and seals well. It is not heavy-duty, but the build quality is sturdy enough that it should not have any breakage issues in normal use. I would be careful to avoid dropping it. The handle is easy to squeeze and seals off automatically and quickly. It is just the right size for a 6-8 person batch of pancakes. It is especially nice when cooking on a large griddle and you can just dispense a whole batch of pancakes quickly, easily, and cleanly. The widened base keeps it stable. It is pretty easy to wash by hand and also able to go in the dishwasher.It is not a magic cure for every kind of situation or batter. For its particular use case, it performs excellently. A good value for around $24.One limitation to be aware of: To work well, your batter does need to be in a fairly narrow range of consistency. Too thin, and it will just run out quickly or leak. Too thick or chunky, will not flow well. It works great for the consistency I usually have for pancakes or waffles at. It probably would not work great for thick batter like cupcakes or for batter with chunky mix-ins.
