🌟 Thoughtfully Designed & Accurate!
Wow! I’d never even heard of Bluetooth meat thermometers before, so when I saw these, I knew I had to try them!The whole system is very thoughtfully designed - the interface/repeater doubles as your charging and storage system for the probes, all in a sleek, integrated design with a magnetic cover on the back.I am all for products and tools that are multifunctional - there’s many other situations I’ve been in where dual temperature monitoring could’ve saved me a load of trouble!I’m an avid baker and cheese maker, and I can cast my mind back to many, many batches of cheese and sugar confections that could have been salvaged if I had a way to reliably monitor temperature from a distance.I haven’t made a good roasted chicken or anything yet that would require me to test this in a high-heat situation yet, so I checked the accuracy of each probe by comparing indoor/outdoor temperatures in various locations throughout my house.These were right on the money every time - accuracy within 0.5-1° is an absolute must, so I was very pleased about that. The probes’ range is hundreds of feet from the repeater, and even further than that if you choose to download the app.I really like that you can use this system WITHOUT having to download the app - I dislike products that *force* you to download a (usually glitchy) app that constantly needs updated or a running subscription. The manufacturers definitely get some bonus points for that!The probe itself is temperature resistant from 140°F to 212°F - I wish it was just a little higher, even just 260°-270°, as then I could use it for even more applications, like boiling down maple syrup or making maple confections. Again, though, not what it was designed for, so there’s no reason to deduct any stars for that.The manufacture also specifies that the head of the probe is heat resistant to 572°F - and that’s pretty impressive!Overall, very happy with the functionality, design, and price point of this product. The kitchen tool I didn’t know I needed!
