You do have to hand wash them which isn't bad at all. I love that you can stack them on top of one another to utilize space. NOT DISHWASHER SAFE

I loved being able to see what was inside. I purchased specifically for that reason and for Lettice & it also looked simplistic which was also a plus. It was my own fault for not reading that this is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE! I put it in the dishwasher b4 use and it came out warped. It was my own fault for not reading! I just thought it was dishwasher safe and it it NOT. My bad, If they made this dishwasher safe I would buy again but dishwasher safe is a must for this household.
