I already have a small capacity food processor, so really didn't need another. However, this is the only food processor type tool that I've seen with a shredding feature, and it works really well for that! I bought a rotisserie chicken to make salad with and in about 20 seconds, I had very finely shredded chicken - my son thought it was tuna fish because of how fine it was. I did make sure no meat was stuck in the threading before putting the spine in the dishwasher. It washes up well, and I was able to wash the bowl in the top rack. Depending on how hot your dishwasher is, you might want to hand wash the bowl so I can't warp from the heat.I also used this to chop dehydrated mashed potatoes to make instant potato flakes. That experiment was very loud to the point I had to plug my ears at the same time I used my elbow to press down on the trigger. I was impressed that it took less than a minute to process. Given that the dried potato bits were about 1-2" square on average, I think that was fairly quick. I will definitely use this in the future for things like pulled pork, making sure to just pulse the meat a few times.
Works great. You must be extremely careful when cleaning it or reaching in it. I cut my thumb open on the blade and had to go to the ER for stitches. I’m still using it because input works great but you must be extremely careful
I love the chopper. It’s very sharp as you see for onion and then I bought it to do chicken, but I don’t understand why the middle isn’t made to sit in there sturdy while added food. That is why I cannot give it a five.
This tiny little guy is amazing. Shreds and minces so fine you can make chicken burgers. Amazed at its efficiency
