Be an ice cream boss!!
This is something that you really don’t NEED, but by golly, when you have one you realize that heating up spoons in hot water is no longer gonna be YOUR experience! 🤭Opening the box on this scoop, it looks incredibly expensive, sleek, and like it came from a store with an expensive name. When you pick it up you’re immediately thrown by how heavy this thing is. I’ll admit that I have no idea what type of battery needs to be in here, but I suppose I didn’t think it needed to be a heavy one. Aside from that, it’s exactly what you would suppose, I think. It has a nice metal scoop, a white handle with a slight silicone feel so you maintain a good grip on it. The controls are pretty intuitive but you long press to turn on and again to turn off, opting to let it heat up longer for a harder ice cream. I forgot when using it (and videoing) that the manual suggests wiping the scoop between scoops to maintain the heat and prevent it from cooling. I truly didn’t notice this impairing it, however. From the very first scoop, I could tell it was sinking in quickly. More than anything I was trying to navigate the heft of the handle and getting all the goodies of the ice cream into the scoop each time :). To be fair, the ice cream, we prefer is already fairly easy to dish out, but this made it incredibly easy.So my opinion - to be completely above board - I don’t think I ever would’ve thought about purchasing one of these before. I would’ve continued on fighting with the ice cream or just leaving it on the counter awhile (creating the liquid we all hate because it took away a bite we could’ve had.) However, this thing is fabulous. Truly. It came fully charged, there’s a silicone cap to keep on when washing to prevent water from entering the charging port (which I feel could be tricky in some homes) which keeps things all safe and dry and makes ice cream enter my mouth faster with less of it becoming liquid “waste.” If you catch this on a sale, grab it!

Is this the greatest invention ever? Maybe.Okay, maybe I am being a bit dramatic, but our kid loves ice cream.. chocolate chocolate chip to be exact and, for whatever reason, that particular ice cream he likes tend to be really cold and hard to get out of the container. This led to a few outcomes. #1) He would microwave the entire container to soften it so he could scoop it out with a regular scoop. #2) He would keep putting the scoop under hot water to try and dig out what he wanted, which would end up getting water in the ice cream.. or #3) he would use a regular spoon, which left half of our spoons bent.This solved all of it in one felt swoop.This charges easily and quickly using a standard USB C plug.What's really great is that it turns on when you grab it, so you don't have to press buttons. Pick it up and the scoop starts warming. It shows the current temperature on the display and then you just grab your ice cream and start scooping easily. You don't have to heat the entire container (which makes it turn icy later) or get water in it or bend spoons out of shape.It lasts a long time without having to be recharged, but as mentioned it charges really quickly.This was such a great find and well worth the price.Recommend!!!

Scoop gets Too HOT
The temp of the scoop goes up to high. The temp could be lower with the same result. The phone camera doesn’t pick it up but the temp gets to 158 degrees F 💥Very Hot!💥

Powerful little gadget that actually works
This arrived fully charged right out of the box, which was a nice surprise. It powered through a half-gallon of ice cream smoothly—much easier than using a regular scoop on hard ice cream. So much easier than running a regular scoop under hot water.It’s simple to clean, and I appreciate that it comes with its own charging cord. Everything fits neatly back in the box, which is how we plan to store it so it doesn’t get lost in a drawer.It’s too soon to speak to long-term durability, but it feels sturdy and well-made so far.This would make a great gift for someone who enjoys kitchen gadgets or for that person who already seems to have everything. Genius invention I wish I found sooner lol
This heated ice cream scoop is honestly such a game changer. This is such a genius ideas and one of those things you never knew you needed but now can’t live without.
