I NEED this bottle opener as I have a very weak grip. It's embarrassing to have to call a nephew to come over and open a jar of pasta sauce. This opens jars of all sizes and is very helpful. Although having to replace batteries is not fun (when you don't have AAs), the one button, and it's open function is awesome.

This jar opener is fun to use and would be a real hit at dinner parties. Unfortunately it is a bit slow as it has to clamp the container and then clamp the lid, rotate the lid and then reverse the process. The beauty is you can walk away and perform other kitchen tasks as it does its thing. Also you will be limited in size to what you can open. My wife buys Costco size jars of olives and they are too big for the machine.It's a great piece of engineering and performs well and I would love to add it to my kitchen appliances but it will take up valuable storage space and it can't open all the jars we purchase. Too bad, I love to watch it work.
This product is fabulous! It works on every jar I've tried. I think you are suppposed to avoid jars with plastic lids. It just WORKS. It's also fun to watch. I recommend it to anyone needing help opening jars (most people?)
I bought the Electric Jar Opener hoping it would make opening jars easier, but it’s a complete disappointment. It’s difficult to use, and despite following the instructions, it doesn’t open jars as promised. The device struggles even with new sealed jars and doesn’t work effectively at all. This product is a waste of money, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
The product itself works fine. This review is more about the packaging it came in, and how badly damaged the package was. The batteries were missing as well. I was super annoyed and was going to return it, but the product itself actually works and I really needed it so I decided to keep it anyway. Not sure about this seller though.
