My son-in-law loves this kettle. (I gifted him the same as mine).He was boiling water for tea/coffee in a pan on the stovetop. Drove me nuts.Now he uses this kettle instead.Kettle is also good for using the hot water on ramen noodles, oatmeal, formula, etc. I use it to preheat spaghetti water to shorten the boiling time in the pot. The advantage of the different temp settings.Log opens nice and wide for filling, and has good control when pouring.Anytime I need hot water for something, I use this kettle. Probably gets used at least 3 times a day. Have had for years without any issue.Cord is not attached to the pot making it easy to use anywhere.No plastic is in contact with the water; doesn’t have a smell on arrival or when used. Speed of heating is quick. Would have like more color options, but that’s just me.Overall a 10 for 10 rating.

I have a very old version kettle that was given to me my a special ladies that passed away. Therefore, it had sentimental attachments. However, when I saw this kettle I had to buy it. I love the double-layer insulation that it has. My current one had an iron inside which am told is not safe. The outside gets pretty hot too so you could only hold it by the handle. Knowing those I wanted to get a better one. This kettle boils water in minutes at 1200w stable heating. Once it finishes boiling I love that it stops on its own. It holds a good amount of water. The body doesn’t feel hot after use which makes it safe for everyone, especially if you have small kids that liked to touch.There are 7 temperature levels which makes it easy to set base on what you desire(coffee or tea). This kettle cord length is good. My previous kettle cord was extremely short and was not portable like this one. The digital display of what the temperature is can also be seen as a plus. The price is good and this kettle does a lot of things. All I can say is it a good buy and a must have.
