Excellent sharpener

This works very well! I had an older set of really good knives that had a few knicks from me tapping garlic and onion off on the edge of a pan. I didn't realize it would do that to knives. I ordered a new set but purchased this sharpener to fix the old set to my daughter.After several swipes through this machine, the knicks were gone and the blades looked new again.Took about 20 minutes for a set of 5 knives. Just sharpening the blade took about 1 minute per knife.So much easier than the little ones you hold in your hand. The price is great for how quick and easy I can keep my knife set brand new. This makes knives very very sharp. I use both options to sharpen and it gives great accuracy to the blade.
