Super cute powerhouse for heating & eating with caution

So here's a quick skinny on my situation; I'm a massage therapist and don't have a "lunch break", which means I have to grab a bite in the few mins btwn clients. And when you have to pull something from the fridge, unpack/open it up, put it in the microwave and nuke it, that takes up more of the short few mins btwn clients. With that being said, this little guy is a POWERHOUSE of heating!! So here's the quick breakdown: PROS: cute as all get out. Seems small but actually lots of food room. Comes with a perfect thermal carrying case and 2 cords - one for the wall, one for the vehicle. Heats up QUICK. Food is PIPING hot. Inside comes out for easy cleaning. Product seems sturdy and I haven't had any issues with it and have used it several times. Problems? Because I have hour-long sessions, the food actually almost burns in the center, so I've learned to only put very hydrated items in here, as it's ready to eat in like 20+ mins. I've added water to the food and it still burned a bit in the center. And because it gets so hot, I actually put an oven pad under it for whatever surface I sit it on. YES the plug gets hot. YES the food is so hot you WILL burn your tongue! And if it has a "turn off" feature when it hits a certain temp, I guess that's the clicking I hear when it's on; the light never dims or shuts off, and the food still is SOOOO hot. So don't be fooled thinking you can "set it and forget it" because molten lava is hard to eat on a 30 min lunch break.

Great for work lunches or truck drivers for a hot homemade meal

This is a really handy item to have for having hot lunches at work and it does heat quickly. Size is perfect for just about anything you would want to have for a lunch meal. The handy carrying case is great for traveling in the car. I have used this several times since getting it and my only complaint is that you might want to stir your food occasionally while heating as it does get extremely warm in the center of the insert, which can cause some sticking of your food. However the included cleaning pad is great for getting the residue off of the insert when cleaning. Will be purchasing a couple more for friends.

This saved me when I didn't have easy access to a refrigerator or a microwave. It's incredibly easy to use. I definitely recommend that you follow the instructions as well as set your own timer to monitor how long it's heating food. I have overcooked a dish or two because I wasn't paying attention. I use mine at work. I read other reviews that mentioned being useful on the road. I have not tried that, but am happy that it's an option.

LOVE this item. I travel all day and this works for me. The capacity is really Texas size portion and the time is from 15 to 20 min to get it hot. And it is hot, it melts my cheese when I add it before or after heating. No issue with leaking even with soup and cleaning is easy. The heater must be dead center bottom, the food may stick there but the cleaning sponge included pulls it right off. Haven’t tried the dishwasher because I clean, fill and have it ready for the next day. So yea, love it!

Heats up food fast and even. I like that I can use it for solid foods as well as for stews and soups. If you pack the bowl completely full, it heats up everything pipping hot around 30 to 40 minutes.
