I have owned my Kitchen Aid mixer for many years and one thing I always wanted to try was the meat tenderizer attachment. I finally decided to grab one and give it a try. I love to cook, and my husband loves to grill. This works perfectly for both of us. We don't always get that marinade going right away. Often we pick up meat the same day but definitely need it to be tenderized. This is that solution, this meat tenderizer is so simple to use. Attach and place your meat to go through the tenderizer attachment. Now that we have this home, it's a game changer for our meals. Absolute Disappointment!!!!!
We took great care in our approach to this tenderizer making sure the meat was a thin cut to ensure the machine could handle it. It was an immediate nightmare as it got stuck and we had to rip it out in bloody chunks. Hands down the worst purchase I've ever made from Amazon.

Jammed
I finally got a chance to try this and I was very disappointed. The attachment seem light and cheap. Unfortunately, it jammed and with no reverse, there was no way to save the product without disassembling the device. Even then, it was hard to clean.I cannot recommend this product.

Great for thinner cuts
My Dad is in his late 80s and is having increased difficulty chewing meat. I'm having to cook mostly with ground meat. He's a hunter and loves venison but that can be tough. This tenderizer is a game changer (no pun intended) (okay, maybe a little bit). Using this on a venison steak makes it as tender and easy to eat as ground meat but can make different types of recipes. It also works well on chicken, beef, and pork - just on thinner cuts of meat.

Wanted to torch it but love it.
I got this for chicken breasts and it worked terrible. I went back and read the instructions and it stated that it is not for use with Chicken. Meat is too soft.I used it on Beef and Pork. This is fantastic. The meat looks like a waffle when complete but that goes away when you cook it. It makes all the meat uniform thickness so they cook evenly.I would purchase this again.
