Nice but large footprint

I didn't realize when I ordered these how much counter space they would take. It's hard to tell from the images but I would really pay attention to measurements before you order. But they work well and the grinders themselves are a nice size. Its just the charging base thats bigger than what I would want displayed on my counter. I ended up putting them in a pantry that thankfully has an outlet so I can keep the charger hidden away and only have the grinders themselves out when using.

One handed operation while cooking is the most important feature for me

There a quite a few features with this grinder set but the one i value most is being able grind salt and/or pepper while cooking with just one hand. I have long had manual grinders next to the cook top and those work well enough, but they would often take me out of the moment for the few seconds to add seasoning, and again, as I would need to adjust the amount of salt/pepper. All the other features, e.g. recharging, adjusting coarseness, area light, are very secondary. I have yet to recharge after several weeks of using the grinders. I use the same type of coarse salt and peppercorns, so I have already adjusted the coarseness to my preference and the light is not really that helpful since I don’t bring the grinders that close while seasoning. I don’t have much that I don’t like about these grinders but I do want to call out that I appreciate storage capacity which extends the amount of time before i need to reload the grinders.

Great upgrade.

One of my old grinders failed and I was unable to get a single one as a replacement. I started looking around and landed on this set. Out of the box I noticed the storage capacity difference of these vs. the old ones I had. Not only was the storage capacity better, but the motor power was much stronger. We use the pink Himalayan salt and it crushed it with ease. I also like the fact that the charging connectors are on the back of these grinders. This keeps the connections clean. These are well worth the money.
