This is a nice set of electric salt and pepper grinders, though of course the grinders could be used for spices beyond salt and pepper. Both grinders are the same, but it's easy enough to tell what's in them by looking at their contents. The clear storage container allows one to see how much spice is left and the battery indicator allows one to see how much charge is left. I appreciate both things so as not to be caught short. The grinding mechanism on both grinders is ceramic, which is good because it will not become pitted or corroded due to contact with salt. Aesthetically, the grinders look nice, though I do wish that the manufacturer's name was not quite so prominently displayed. The grinders produce salt and pepper that is reasonably-uniformly ground at the touch of a button. When cooking, they make it easy to add spice and blend at the same time. On the table, they look good and add a fun touch to dinner (though be watchful when children start pressing the buttons).So why four (and not five) stars? It is because in order to adjust the grinders, one must open them up as if for refilling in order to get at the adjustment knob. It would be better if this adjustment feature were accessible from the outside of the grinder (as with a ring that would be turned). However, this is a relatively minor quibble. Overall, these grinders seem well made and solid. They work well and I'm pleased to have and to recommend them.

Nice quality grinders! I've been using one for the pepper until my regular salt is out. I love that it's a one push of a button on the very top to grind instead of using two hands to manually grind. I started using it once right out of the box without charging it up and it works well. I'm not sure if it gives you an indication that it needs to be recharged, so I'll be on the lookout when it stops grinding. I like that the grind size function is a manual adjustment on the bottom. I saw another review who said they had to empty their grinder to adjust? I haven't found that to be true of mine. I can't wait to get salt to use next!

Sturdy - easy to fill and use
We've had a set of electric grinders for years. It's a good idea. These excel by virtue of being easy to fill. They are also rechargeable. That sounds like a hassle but, in [practice, they are used a few times a day for a few seconds so the charge lasts a very long time. They have a nice, clear stand to keep them in order. The buttons are huge and are on the bottom so I can turn them over and get just the right amount ground. They seem sturdy and strong and are a welcomed adition to the kitchen. For about $40 the are not cheap but I think they'll prove worth the cost.
