These elegant silver chafing dishes are absolutely stunning in person. They are very heavy duty, thick, solid, and beautifully made. They have a true upscale look that makes them perfect for parties, weddings, or holiday buffets. Compared to my other older plain ones, these are a big upgrade and worth every penny, especially for a set of four 5- quart dishes at this price.They were simple to assemble, taking about five minutes each, and every piece fit together smoothly. The packaging was excellent, and there were no dents or scratches at all. The food pans were nested tightly together at first, even though they had plastic between them, but the included orange plastic tool worked perfectly to separate them without any damage.Each unit comes with a water pan and a food pan, both made of commercial grade stainless steel. You can keep food warm by filling the lower pan with hot water and using standard chafing fuel cans underneath inside the fuel holder below. The lid slides open easily and has a handle for safe use.They can also be used for cold dishes, just replace the hot water with ice. The design is smart and nests compactly when disassembled for storage.These are sturdy, damage resistant, and elegant. I can't wait to set them up for Thanksgiving – my family is going to be amazed when they see how professional these look!
