Yes it's expensive! But it's the best cocktail shaker you will ever own. Simple brilliance adding measurements to the top to assist in making drinks- easy on easy off lid - doesn't get stuck like most shakers when cold - best of all you can shake it forever and it does not get ice cold and uncomfortable in your handsWell built, I anticipate it will last forever. It is probably not normal to love a cocktail shaker this much but after suffering through a couple of Boston shakers that I inherited from my father, this one is fantastic. It not only looks beautiful, it works flawlessly. I use it several times a week. It never leaks and my hands don’t freeze and I just absolutely think it’s the best shaker I’ve ever had! And as an added bonus, the numbers (both imperial and metric) in the lid are large enough for me to read even with low vision! I’ve had no trouble measuring my ingredients.Oh, sure, it’s expensive, but why not splurge once in a while if one can! I know it’s some of my friends and family are getting for Christmas!

Love this cocktail shaker! With cap tightly on you turn the top upside down to find easy to read measurement mark in oz and ml for getting perfect proportions. Also has built in strainer. The no-leak seal keeps it from leaking when shaking. It is also insulated so it doesn't freeze your hand. Worth the difference. Definitely a keeper!

Finally a shaker that doesn't leak and keeps ice cold. It's attractive and easy to hold in your hands. Easy to open and pour. I get tons of compliments on it. Keeps the contents ice cold too. Does not leak and looks pretty

Expensive? Definitely. But I have bought 3 insulated cocktail shakers that were one third of the price and they all have issues. One, the color is chipping, another the bottom disc fell off, and the newest one leaks from the screw on lid. So I decided to splurge and see if this one was really better. They were all made in China. So far so good. It holds a bit more so I can make two margaritas. Easy for my small hands to hold, and ta-da, it does not leak. And I like the way it looks.
