Grooves

I’m giving this a lower rating because of it being so hard to clean out the grooves easily as everything you do at the counter cooking falls into them. On the good side it’s def very absorbent and dries fast. I had a regular flat one previously made of the same material and loved it but my husband defrosted shrimp on paper towel on that mat and I had to throw it as we could not get the order out no matter what we tried. This one was twice the price but really detest the grooves.

Well Made, Just Not a Match for My Space

This was my first experience with a stone drying mat, so I didn’t quite know what to expect. Works great as a giant coaster.

This is a cool little stone mat. I tried it as a dish drying mat, and it works. The problem is that's just not how I do my dishes. BUT... you want to defrost your steak without leaving water all over the place, this is perfect for that. throwing a party and have a picture of pre-mixed beverages with ice in it that seems to want to sweat all over the place? Yup, this works great for that too. So basically I use it as a giant coaster, and with the dark one, I don't seem to have any stains on it. IMHO it looks good on the counter, and most of the time it lives by the coffee pot so that there aren't any drips on the counter.

Innovative water absorbing material

I don’t have a dish washer so I like to be thorough when washing dishes which means I spill water everywhere. I use this mat under my dish rack and it is amazing! No more towels or dish cloths getting soaked around the sink. This is such a unique material and I’ll admit touching the top side feels kind of weird but it absolutely absorbs all water and it doesn’t leak through.
