Durable kid plates
These plates have been the perfect size for my 4-year-old son. We got these to replace the plastic plates we were using because we wanted to move away from plastic. The silicone sleeves give them a little more protection and ensure they don't slide around on the table. We do find that they don't fit well in the dishwasher rack because they are so thick compared to our standard plates even with the sleeve removed. Overall they was well and haven't shown any scratches or utensil marks My son likes the color options that it came with. Overall we are happy with them.

These are practical, safe, and look great! The plate itself is made out of porcelain. The silicon can easily be removed for cleaning. I did notice that after using them for a bit, the porcelain can scratch. Only clean with a soft sponge to keep the integrity of the porcelain. The silicon helps keep the plate on the table. It’s heavy enough so that it doesn’t slip. My toddler loves using what she calls “my plate”. It’s fun for her to use and eat out of! Highly recommend these! Just be careful when cleaning if you don’t want scratches on them.

Great quality plate for BLW and beyond
Have been using these with my son since he was 6 months old instead of silicone plates because those tend to taste like soap after washing. These are heavy enough that he couldn’t pick it up until he was about 10/11 months old, but even then, he can only move it slightly. The silicone on the outside keeps it in place. Easy to clean and look like a normal plate rather than a kid plate. Great quality. Also has matching silverware which we purchased. Highly recommend!

Not perfect but work well for my young kids
These are the best toddler plates that I can find that meet my requirements of being non-divided, offer a raised edge, microwave and dishwasher safe, and offer some protection (via the silicone cover). I prefer the porcelain over stainless steel since these can be placed in a microwave. They’re the right size for my young kids and the colors work well since I have a boy and a girl.But I’m not so sold on the price tag, weight (they’re heavy), and the fact that they are prone to scratches. Showing a scratch that appeared within the first month of owning these. Also, we find trying to put them in the dishwasher with the silicone ring on means water gets in between the plate and the silicone so doesn’t dry well. Instead, we separate and throw both in the dishwasher or just hand wash the silicone. Slightly inconvenient either way.But still the best I could find for my needs so we have these on daily rotation at our family meals.
