The Ello Oasis 40 oz mug keeps my beverages cold all day long. It is a great value for the money and the size is perfect. It fits in my cup holder of my car perfectly. It is spill proof because it has a hid a straw lock. This is my go-to mug.
I LOVE this cup! If you are in search of a tumbler and dont want Stanley prices, look no further!! This is beautiful and heavy duty and works perfectly as designed. I love how you can twist it to hide the straw so you can literally shove it in your bag and go - no spillage! Easy to clean AND dishwasher safe!! My husband was happy to hear about that. As far as keeping my drinks cold, I had some ice still left in it from yesterday evening so I'd say its a winner. Haven't tried it with hot drinks but Im sure it wont disappoint. A definite good buy !

I'm writing this review after 3 weeks of purchase.-A great cup. First of all, the pattern is so cute, the pink gingham is gorgeous. The cup is really lightweight in comparison to the other cups, to me, that's more practical, the other 40oz cups in the market are just too heavy for me.- As it's more lightweight it's true it keeps ice a little less than other brands that I have. The drink stays cold but not AS LONG as the competition imho.Another huge plus it's the straw system: 100% leakproof. You can throw it in your bag, and don't worry about leaks.Also it's really hygienic. I have 0 mold despite not being the most diligent person at washing my cup.There's a concern in the reviews about the paint chipping, I had 0 issues with mine, even though I accidentally dropped it 🤧 the paint it's still intact.The only thing that's missing to make it perfect is a rubber base as I don't like to use "boots".
I have a ton of cups/mugs/tumblers, whatever the official name is for these things 😂 I have BruMates, HydoJugs and off brand one and now two of these Ello Oasis. The pictures are of the purple one in 30 ounce, but the review is the same for this pinkish 40 ounce that I also have. I use mine for the gym, just everyday water or electrolyte consumption and one to keep on my nightstand. I had to laugh at the review above claiming that this mug is “heavy” 🤣 It’s actually the lightest of all of mine, except the cheapest off brand one I have. Also, if their cup arrived chipped for whatever reason…send. it. back. 🤦♀️ Also, the straw configuration is *not* difficult to figure out 😏 Okay, now that that’s out of the way…I really do love these cups! I love that the straw is completely hidden and unexposed (as long as you turn the “dial thingy” completely) it 💯 does not leak (again, as long as you close the dial completely) it keeps my beverages cold plenty long enough, the colors are great and they’ve fit in every cup holder I’ve put them in (the reviewer above must have some super weird cup holders or they just aren’t smart if theirs doesn’t fit 🤣). The coating on the outside is the exact same as my HydroJug and my two year old HydroJugs have zero scratches, so it’s definitely decent quality. Now, to the reason(s) I knocked one star off…if you put anything with a flavor, I’ll use a scoop of cherry electrolytes as an example, and wash it by hand, the smell and flavor is quite hard to get rid of from the straw and its mechanism. If you put it in the dishwasher, it comes off fine. Also, I wish it had a silicone bottom or at least a boot I could purchase for it, as the bottom is just the stainless material. It’s the same diameter of the HydroJug, so I’ll probably just purchase one meant for that type. That’s really my only criticism, otherwise these are great and not way overpriced like the other brands.
So I’m a Stanley lover, but we went on vacation a few weeks ago, and I forgot my cup! I had this one shipped to my vacation house, because it was inexpensive, and shipped overnight, but I didn’t realize how AWESOME it was until received. I have 4 dogs and 2 children and my Stanley is constantly getting knocked over and is not leakproof, this Ello cup is!!!! The straw closes inside easily with a switch of a latch. This is the best feature ever, no more spills!! I’ve also kept drinks and ice in it overnight, and the next day it is still cold with ice! Not to mention the cute flower print, love it! It’s light weight and fits in my cup holder in my car, and now with the locking lid, i can easily throw it in my purse when we are going into a store!
